[BETA 1.3 | MC 1.7.2] MC-War Client

Remember that client from a long time ago? The one only open to moderators?
Unfortunately, it was discontinued, but I thought, that's a shame.
Therefore, I created this.


Current Features:
> Scopes for pistol, sniper, and assault rifles.
> A full MC-War server list.
> An included release of my "AssaultBlock" resource pack.
> Permanent item tooltips.
> Better timer.
> XP bar level counter shows MC-War level.
> A HUD for ammo, health, etc.
> Multiple recticles.
> Chatbox parsing.
> Flag highlighting.
> Multiple firemodes.
> Flag notification sounds.
> Language pack support.
> A in-between static HUD.

Spoiler: Fire Modes

Fire modes: Press 'F' to switch fire modes. Will change in the future.
Change the keybind in the controls menu.
Semi-Auto: Fire 1 bullet at a time.
Full Auto: Fire by holding down mouse.
Burstfire: Fire in 3-round bursts. Only applies to M4A1 and Lemantataion.

Spoiler: Variable Zoom

While scoped in with a sniper, press:
R - Zoom in.
F - Zoom out.
Left click - Unscope.
All keybinds are changable via the controls menu.

Spoiler: Hip Textures

Hip textures are disabled by default:
To enable/disable, toggle the button under Video Settings.

Spoiler: Smooth Scopes

Smooth scopes mode makes sniper scopes smooth, like in cinematic camera mode.
Toggleable from the Video Settings menu.

Spoiler: Loadout Menu

Changes the scope being used based on your choice.
Access the loadout menu from the pause menu while in-game.

Spoiler: Information for Resource Pack Creators

To add different scopes to your guns, you go to the /textures/war/zoom folder, then create 4 folders called "1", "2", "3", and "4". In each folder, you put:
assault1.png through assault6.png
sniper1.png through sniper6.png
shotgun1.png through shotgun6.png
smg1.png through smg5.png
All images in folder "1" are used for ACOG scopes.
All images in folder "2" are used for Holographic scopes.
All images in folder "3" are used for RDS scopes.
All images in folder "4" are used for Variable Zoom scopes.

Spoiler: Language Packs

Language pack support is automatic based on resource packs.

Spoiler: Information for Resource Pack Creators

In order to use language packs, first open your MC-War.jar file. Navigate to the assets\minecraft\ folder. In there is a file called wardefaults.txt; extract that to some other folder, then rename it to warnames.txt. Move the file to assets\minecraft\ in your resource pack, then edit it to your liking. Congratulations! You're done!

Spoiler: Static Overlay

Stretches to fill the whole screen. The file itself is named "overlayMain.png", and is found under the "\assets\minecraft\textures\war\" directory. The default resolution is 454x256, but you can make it 908x512 or even larger, if you want.

Also toggleable from the options menu:
Hardcore FPS Mode (Hide the hotbar) - "Hide Hotbar" under video settings.
Hide or show scopes - "Use Scopes" under video settings.

The Screen Visual is already on the to-do list (Ammo HUD).
As for the minimap, I don't think I can do that. Unless I hook into Rei's Minimap or something?

And LAW obviously doesn't have a scope...
