Everything you need to know about McBrawl​

August was a big month for McBrawl, with the introduction of two new servers (Minestrike & MinecraftMurder) along with various global & cosmetic updates.

Roller Coaster
As most of you know we had our Roller Coaster competition earlier this summer, here are some highlights of the winners:

Spoiler: Winners

• 1st Place: Was awarded to Red_Engine, he received $50 worth of McBrawl items and a Rank promotion on the Creative server.

• 2nd Place: Was awarded to Platypus7777, 6150, jr6150 and Baggizine, They won a prize pack of $45 of McBrawl items and they each got a rank promotion on the creative server.

• 3rd Place: Was awarded to bob8is8cool, he won $40 of McBrawl items along with a rank promotion.

• 4th Place: Was awarded to gamemaster8000, booflame, iErebos and Parkman1221, they received a prize pack of $35 of McBrawl items along with a rank promotion for each of them.

• 5th Place: Was awarded to jaydenchadd, BorN_Adderr, demonguy567 and Darkchaosknight, they received a $30 prize pack of McBrawl items along with rank promotion’s for each of them.

Videos for MVP
Recently we have introduced videos for MVP, this is mainly a way to get McBrawl more well known and out there in the Minecraft community. Members had the opportunity to create a (minimum) 3 minute long video about one of the McBrawl servers which in return they would be given 2 weeks of free MVP on a server of their choice!

A whopping 293 videos were accepted,
4,102 days of MVP/VIP given total.

• WarZ: 112 - 61.1%
• War: 73 - 36.5%
• Party: 4 - 1.4%
• Survival: 3 - 1%

We would like to think this was a big success and we plan on doing this again in the future.

Murder and MineStrike
August saw the return of MineStrike to McBrawl and also saw the introduction of a new server, MinecraftMuder!

Since July’s MineStrike tournament was such as success, we felt it would be a good idea to bring MineStrike back to McBrawl. MineStrike is based on the popular Steam game CounterStrike.
MinecraftMurder is our new server based on a popular Garry’s Mod gamemode and is similar to Trouble in Terrorist town. Once in a game, you will be assigned a name and role. Your objective is based on your role.

Easter Egg hunt
Our second WarZ event was completed recently and overall went very well, here are the winners in corresponding order:

• 1st Place: Was given to nicolecacola, he found 49 eggs and was awarded with 90 days of MVP and 30 days with the WarZ Golden helmet.

• 2nd Place: Was given to camjam29, he also found 49 eggs but posted second. He was awarded 60 days of MVP and 3 sets of Full Diamond Armor.

• 3rd Place: Was given to QuinnGannon2, he found 36 eggs and was awarded with 30 days of MVP and 1 set of Full Diamond Armor.

• 4th Place: Was given to masterhobo68, he found 33 eggs and was awarded with 30 days of VIP and all tier IV weapons and 2 stacks of ammo for each weapon.

• 5th Place: Was given to Lone_Wolf_05, he found 32 eggs and was awarded 15 days of VIP and all tier IV guns and 1 stack of ammo for each weapon.

Wiki Team
August also saw the introduction of the Wiki Team. They will be responsible for Wiki management and maintenance. Our current wiki member’s are:

• tippertopper

These four members currently handle our wiki that need’s some help. Their job is to update and maintain the wiki.

Creative update
Throughout August, chickenputty has been working to improve the McBrawl Creative server. This update includes a many new features including: new ranks, new TAB appearance, chest commands, and much more. We expect to release this later tonight or next week!

Ranks database
Towards the end of the month, we created the new McBrawl ranks database! You can now check what ranks you have on any of the McBrawl servers, check when it began and check when it expires.

Alt policy increase
Recently we have introduced a new system that bans alternative accounts of banned players. Throughout the past few weeks, we have made various changes to this policy in the attempt to ensure it is as effective as possible. As the McBrawl community were already aware, we now look to ban alt accounts of banned players. We have tweaked the policy to ensure it cannot be bypassed easily.

EULA - Cosmetic update
Our first step to complying with Minecraft’s new EULA comes in the shape of the cosmetics update will be out very soon. The cosmetics update will include: player wardrobes, player mounts, customizable fireworks, player particles, and personal player pets.

Other additions and updates
We just recently added an updated version of Aztec (by Celx41) for MineStrike. The new MinecraftMurder lobby was also added.

Wiki editing & additions
As mentioned above, the addition of the Wiki Team has caused a huge rise in the updating of the McBrawl Wiki. We’ve had the Wiki Team and our Moderators work mainly on creating all the content for the MinecraftMuder Wiki and update the appearances and content of MC-War and MC-WarZ gun information.
