    This is NOT about a balloon, cake, and soda party. I'm talking a party where you and someone else from another clan can join up and play on the same team.

    Now, I'm going to say straight up that I want you to tell me WHY exactly this is OP. Everyone seems to diss this idea, but I don't know why.

    So, I like that in CoD, you and your friends don't have to be in the same clan to be on the same team. I'd like to see this in MCWar. Some of my friends have their own clan with their closer friends, but we are still friends, are we not? I still invite them to parties, and we boss and dominate, but we are still a clan apart. Is that a problem? No.

    How this will be balanced is that the party cannot exceed 2/3 the number of people in that lobby. If that were to happen, you'd have 35v1's and stuff like that, AKA bullying.

    The Changes Needed/Things to Note:
    - Clans will no longer be always put on the same team (randomized). That will only happen if they are in the same party.
    - Commands will need to be created to start parties, disband parties, leave parties, and kick party members, much like many other adventure servers have.
    - Big command could be one to invite everyone in the lobby that's in your clan.
    - The party will last until the leader disbands, and will auto-disband when the leader disconnects; the rest of the party will have to reassemble itself.
    - If possible, I'd like to make it so that in the chat, your party is a certain color to you (others outside of your party will see it as the team color).
    - I doubt this is possible, but make it so that the nametag above party members also makes them stand out by coloring it the same as the chat color. But, it would only be that way to members of the party. Others outside of the party will see the normal color.

    After reading this myself, I think that this is something that might be implemented WAYYYYY later. Right now, the system functions great, and sooo many changes will need to be implemented. But, I just want to lay out the idea.

    I like the idea. I think it would also be cool to do 1v1s or 2v2s and stuff, but you'd need either a lot of servers or a whole bunch of worldedit copy/pastes and more code. So I don't see it happening anytime soon.
    You would still be on the same team as your clan, but if you were in a party, the party would sort of override that and select its own team.

    How exactly does the "overriding" work? And with bigger clans like GSG, FLUX, HACK, POWR, etc. people will be more likely to have their own party, making it so that the clan doesn't stay together.

    Agreed, I feel like this whole Party idea is completely removing clans, you are basically just saying to you want Clan to be with clans which you can sort of do by allying with other clans. Although i see where you are getting it I don't think it will be added to the game.

    I see our point, but what about if a clan member wants to face off with his clan, eh? What he do then?

    You got me there. I think they could add more options to there already made Clan Plugin, although I do like this whole party idea.

    Well, there can be no clone of Chuck Norris. But, Bruce Lee and Chuck never fought off-screen. If they did, the world would've exploded and we would've been vaporized.

    But what when I invite a friend from hack when I'm in a other clan all the hack pkauers wil be mixed, why???? (you said that)
    I have an idea:
    Put aal tge orher hack players still in the same team axept the party so the reason why ther are clan will stay :smile:

    What you said was kind of confusing, but I will try to explain it simpler.

    If this is implemented, the teams shall be always randomized, even if you are in the same clan. The only way to play with a certain group (whether it's with your clan or not), is to start a party and invite them. That party will always be put on the same team, and will only end if the leader (starter of it) disbands the party or disconnects.

    I don't want to partay, because it ruins clans. Not everyone in a large clan will know each other, so won't create a party.

    This is how I think this should work. Lets say, PersonA is in the clan 1234. PersonB, PersonC and PersonD are also in 1234. PersonE, PersonF, PersonG, and PersonH are in 5678. These are the only people on the server. A game starts, the people in these clans are on the same team as the rest of their clan. But before the next game starts, PersonA starts a party with PersonG and PersonH. Now, people who are not in the party will still be on the same team as people in their clan, who are also not in the party. Only the team the party is on will be randomized. So, the teams will look like this:

    Red: PersonA, PersonG, PersonH

    Blue: PersonB, PersonC, PersonD, PersonE, PersonF

    That may seem a bit unfair, but this is actually quite common. I once played a 5v1 (I was the 1). This was because everyone on the other team was in HACK.

    If 3 more people were to join the party, no one else could join the party, as it would be exceeding the 2/3 limit that HuiDog describes in his post. On a larger server, parties wouldn't be on their own team, there are just only 8 people on the server in this example.

    This is exactly how HuiDog says he thinks it should work, except here, people are still on the same teams as people in their own clan when they're not in a party.
