Here are some of the best ways to become active, try to post but not spam, off topic posts don't count towards your messages.
And there are ways to help us, ask most of the active people like me and lots of other people who are active on the forums, we will guide you to the forums. :3

 

1st you could answer a few questions in Q and A, talk in disscussion, report hackers/rulebreakers, suggest ideas and other stuff
2nd pretty much same as above

 

1. Be very mature
2. Make creative ideas
3. Look up on all forums pages
4. Get lots of posts
5. Make your own threads
6. Apply for mod

You can try to apply for mod when you get 300 messages and very active @tridragon22.
However... if you try to apply for mod right now it would most likely get denied. Just keep that in-mind.

 

You can simply start just like any other person on this forum. Start in threads you feel comfortable in and discuss there. Simply putting in your two cents about a topic is good enough. You can also try the forum games. While they don't increase post counts, they are a fun way to waste time with fellow members.

About the second question, I don't know if that is referring to the forums or servers. I am assuming the servers. If the forums, you don't really have to worry about that. It is our job as staff to keep the forums under control. You simply stating "don't spam" won't do anything unfortunately. All it will do is just advocate these people to do more inappropriate things.

Server-wise, you can some things. Our forum has a rule breaker section, linked here , and you can screenshot and player you feel is breaking rules. Monitoring players who were not behaving is what I did before I became a moderator, and it worked somewhat.

If you ARE thinking of applying for staff, please take my advice. Do not do that. Yet. As of now you are too new to be considered. I would wait around two months and get your post count to at least 300 before considering. And, if anything, try to not apply for MC-War. As of now, we are not accepting those moderators. We are, however, accepting WarZ mods and MinecraftParty mods, so you can apply for the later.

Feel free to PM me about anything you are wondering about in our forums.

 

1. Be sure to check the forums everyday to keep up to date with what is happening. Play on the servers a lot and try to be nice with other people so the community likes you. Also, if you want to really get close to the community, try using TS3 to chat with us!
2. Reporting rule breakers, in the server and in the forums. Always helps!

When someone asks how they can become active in the community, they probably only ask that because they want to be mod.

 

When i read through the comments, many members said: Report Hackers.
This isn't as easy as they say.
I haven't reportet anything yet; not because i don't want to, but i don't see any of them.
So my tip: Just write your opinion in discussions, map submissions, ...
