MSR has a faster fire rate.
AWP does more damage per bullet, but has a low fire rate, so your shots must count.
MSR does lower damage, but has a faster fire rate, giving you a small window of opportunity even if you miss your shot.
They both have their niches.

 

That is what I mean if they both even each other out what is there to discuss?

I have also noticed this error on the shotguns, as the M590 (Tier 1) is better than the AA12 ( Tier 2) I think this should be fixed as the noobs who play WarZ will falsely use the MSR due to it being a Tier 3 - And the AWP is undoubtedly better than the MSR.

Well, the way i see it the higher the Tier the better it should be, M590 being better than the Spaz and now the T1 Sniper being better than T3, is a bit odd. T1, T2 are both better than the MSR easily. That needs to change.

 

The AWP has a higher damage but slower fire rate, the MSR has the complete opposite. Lower D rate and fast fire rate.

 

so lets say there is a new person to the game and gains this info above. i asume they madenit that way so the noobs who are still learnung to shoot and compensate for movement can use the msr to just spray. but the seasoded veterans get the awp with the more persise hits and lower rate of fire.

 

I still think they should be switched.

 

Msr needs 3 headshots to kill, AWP needs 1 (For full iron). Actually, the MSR only does as much damage as the D-eagle (2.5 hearts to full iron) Msr should have a slightly higher rate of fire and make it do 3 or 3.5 hearts.

 

M1O14 and MSR should be T2, and the AA12 and AWP should be T3.

And in the time it takes to get 3 headshots the player has time to eat / find cover. I agree with you...

 

I they are well evened out since the AWP does more damage but the MSR has more rounds in a clip and shoots faster so I think the MSR has a little bit of an edge actually. AWP= 7.5 hearts on full iron
MSR= 5 hearts on full iron at least for me that happened

 

I've done tests, AWP does 5.5 hearts to a full iron in the body, and kills in 1 headshot. The MSR does 2.5 hearts in a bodyshot and 4 or 4.5 hearts in a headshot. And the MSR's rate of fire is only maybe close to twice the ROF of the AWP/barret.

 

I have found that the AWP does more damage than a MSR
