My idea for the Crossbow nerf.

Great nerf idea! This wouldn't make the cbow too UP or too OP!

 

I two second reload time, just for one shot? Isn't this super under powered. This would make crossbow, on my opinion, a really ****ty weapon. It's a donor weapon it is supposed to be better than the other weapons. And if they do this wont they have a lot of angry donors?

 

If you know the ak47, its reload time is so short that it's like it doesn't even have a reload time. I'd say the actual reload time is somewhere around <0.5 second so I don't see how this would really make it UP. A reload of less that is as fast as a skullcrusher kill!

 

I like this idea. It would make crossbow only slightly worse and much more realistic because real life crossbows don't need to be drawn back. Also they have much more range than normal bows.

 

Yeah this is a good idea since we have some crossbow spammers ( no names ) who take advantage of that and just camp so they can nuke easily

 

Using crossbow can be a real disadvantage, It's not a long range weapon, you have to really know how to use it, When you pull the arrow back you get extreme slowness and your an easy target. Spamming the bow doesn't always work. Not to mention the little ammo it has too. It may seem SUPER OP to people that don't have it but its not a simple scope, shoot weapon.

I like the nerf, I was actually gonna make a thread on how bull****tingly op it is, but hey, your nerf works, another great idea from Moko.

 

I'm pretty sure they're not nerfing the Crossbow :L

 

I definitely think you should apply these nerfs, but I think the crossbow should be a secondary like it is in Black Ops 2

 

Donar guns are donated for. since donations are what keeps the server running, the guns must give the donar an edge over the other players. If the guns were made so that they were equal all of the non-donar weapons, not many people would donate and the server would run low on funding.

 

Donations are exactly that. Donations. Players who spend money on the server do it because they like playing on the server and want to help it expand and be better.
They know that all guns are subject to changes. A .5 sec reload time would still be awesome because the bow is 1-hit anyway. All this nerf would do is make it so players cannot spam arrows all over the place.

CBow can be a disabvantage.
1. minimal range
2.arrows dont fly strait.
3. the dont always kill
4.you have to draw it bach all the way to get a somewhat accurate shot

 

Mhm. I hate it, if you run around and suddenly there are about 5 arrows all around you and you have no chance to escape from death :O
So it sounds like a good idea to me.

 

I want to be able to shoot with different amount of power, so i can shoot over walls etc.

Think for a second now and imagine the raygun and cbow people. Now imagine yourself fighting one in infect, which already gives a huge advantage to rayguns and crossbows. No.
