Mcbrawl Servers Mod Application:


Are you active and helpful on our servers, forums, and TeamSpeak? - Yes, I am helpful on TeamSpeak I help people out when staff members are busy or AFK. I am also active on the forums I have 700+ posts In the activity field. I also I am always on the forums on my phone and have the forums linked to my email so I get notice if there is a post. I am always on the server and am always helping people with stuff related to Minecraft or McBrawl servers in general. I have also along with being a old player on Minecraft I have also been on the server forums since the enjiin forums. I help anyone and everyone I can to the best of my abilities.
Which server are you applying for? - I am applying for the server Mc-War.com.
How old are you? - I am 15 years of age. People have told me that I conduct myself like a 19 year old.
What time zone are you in? - (UTC-07:00) Arizona.

What is your experience and knowledge of Minecraft? - I started playing Minecraft during 1.5 beta and that is almost three years ago. This in turn has given me a lot of knowledge of Minecraft and Minecraft servers in general. I have also been on all of the McBrawl forums as well as joining the server two days after launch. Also due to being an old player to Minecraft and McBrawl this gives me a lot of experience in these fields.

What is your experience with moderating servers? - I was the Co-Owner of a RP sever that is no longer around and had to deal with a lot of hackers as well as other offenses. I was a plugin manager in a sever because of my experience using plugins and knowing what plugins are good and what aren't. I also staff on random severs here and there. But like I have said I cannot bring up the IPs because they no longer exist. I do have the steam group that was formed because of the RP server. I do not know where the original owner has gone I haven't seen him in over a year. There will be a screen shot at the end of this application.

What will you provide to the community if you are provided moderator status? -I would provide activity, knowledge on any subject on the game and a little outside of the game, Being helpful to any player that needs it. I tell every new player that says they are new I tell them the basics and then tell them if they have more questions they can message me their questions. Being on TeamSpeak has given my a brighter view on the moderation side of McBrawl and I do Believe that I fit these requirements. I have also on multiple occasions told people stop doing something that was against server rules and among these things stopping a flame wars.

How active do you consider yourself in-game? - I am very active in game I am pretty much in game at any time I can be unless I am doing paperwork/homework in my real life.

How active do you consider yourself on TS3? - I am active on TS3 I am on at every time that I can possibly be on. If I am not on TeamSpeak I have a issue that needed to be solved in my real life. I also help players with their questions when the staff members that on on TeamSpeak are in their own channel.

How active do you consider yourself on the forums? - I am Always active on the forums I am on all day and have my notifications set to email so I will be notify by phone when there is a new thread in my area of expertise. The forums I have watched are bug reports, Staff application, discussion, and any thread that would have questions I can answer in the best of my abilities. I also have well over the amount of posts that the community from other staff applications consider active. If you think that I am not active enough I am always posting on threads that require help.

What do you consider your greatest strength? -I consider my greatest strength knowledge and intelligence in my fields of expertise.

What do you consider your greatest weakness? - My greatest weakness is one of a few things but I would have to be competitiveness but I have learned to stop and help players I they require it and I am in a match. I have also by doing so have been killed many times in game for helping people, But in like many players I have seen this does not phase me.

How would you handle someone making a minor transgression for the first time? -I would tell them to please stop because it is against sever rules and do not do it again. I would also watch and see if they pull the same stunt again. I would also take screen shots of the person committing the transgression.

How would you handle the same person doing it again a second time? - I would tell them again to stop it and this is your second warning we follow the three strikes you are out guidelines and I would like you to stop and not make me pursue this any further.

How would you handle that person doing it again for the third time? - I would kick or temp ban them depending on how severe the offense was as well as report them in the "report a rule breaker section". I would also take the last screen shots that was worthy of the kick/ban. All this information would there for go into the report so a senior mod or admin to look at it later.

What is your reaction if someone publicly proves you wrong on the forums? - I would look to see if their information is correct if so I would say sorry for the confusion. I am use to being called out on things so it isn't a really big deal for me.

What would you do when someone breaks a rule on the forums? - I would warn them for the post and message them telling them what they did wrong. I would also report the post just so other Mcbrawl staff members can see the post.

When would you lock a thread? - I would lock a thread when its gone way to off topic, a flame war has started, when people grave dig the thread, and if some one keeps spamming the forums with the same topic.

Describe yourself in 3 words: Stubborn, Intelligent, friendly.

Describe yourself in 1 sentence: I am a Intelligent person who is friendly to as many people that I possibly can.

Anything else we should know about you? - If i am not in game you can contact me on the forums or TeamSpeak. I try to make life as interesting as possible not just for myself but for the people around me. I also make YouTube videos of the server the link to my channel is in my forums signature if you want some proof is this. I am not saying in this application that i know everything there is to know that i do not know every thing and this gives me the ability to be corrected if i am wrong. In the case of Skydoesminecraft and other Team Crafted members coming to the server brings the impending question the new members that are sure to come to the server is there going to be staff online to help these new players and be able to moderate the servers. That I what I fear that there will not be enough moderators on the server at any given time to help the new players that a surely going to come to the server.

Situation: A player is out of the map on MC-WAR. What are the steps that you would take to ensure that this player and situation is properly dealt with? - I would tell them to get back into the map and if they do not then i would kick them from the server if they continue to go outside of the map i would temp ban them for X amounts of time. I would also report the way they got out on the forums so it can be fixed. But if they cannot get back into the map i would kick then from the server so it does not give an unfair advantage over the other players. That after all is what walls are there for.

Do you generally know how all the plugins and commands work? - Yes, i do know how most of the plugins because there are plugins that are not given to the public and commands that normal player do not have. I cannot say i know every command but i can say i know all the commands to do my job correctly and in a clean manner.

Do you realize that if you are disrespectful or abuse your power, your power will be taken away? - Yes, i do realize that i will be demoted if i am not respectful of other players and their feelings. I do also realize that i will be demoted if i do not uphold the rules of the server that have been set by my predecessors. I also that being a staff member for McBrawl is not just a position it is a job that will require me at my fullest extent.

This next part will be the FAQ's in a attempt to solve all questions that might be asked. Please note that this is not to extend my application it is used to help solve any possible questions.

1st Question
Q: What is the main reason you want to be a moderator for Mc-War?
A:To clarify anything that was confused on what I said before the only reason I want to be staff member for Mc-Warfare/McBrawl is because I want to help everyone I can. You may ask yourself but can't he do this without moderator? Yes, I could but being a moderator would help extend my ability to solve questions and stop any arguments and trouble players may cause.

2nd Question
Q: Why is it now that you provide moderation proof?
A: I recently remembered that I was a administrator in a Steam Group. I also as I have already stated did not know that I could use outside of minecraft moderation proof until I looked back at SHT00K's Moderator application.

3rd Question
Q: You have applied before what makes you think this time will be different?
A: I believe that this will be different because I believe that I have covered everything that my other applications did not. I also have decided that this would be my last application for being a moderator for the reason that I have applied before. I also am fine being a normal player helping people but being a Moderator would help me help more people like I have stated before.

4th Question
Q: How often do you help player and what is the time you help the most players?
A: I help players everyday multiple times a day helping players is not uncommon. The days when I revive the most questions would be Friday and Saturday This is when a lot of children's parents allow them on the computers so Friday would be the most asked question day also would be the day Mc-war gets the most players.

5th Question
Q: You say you are from the old community and in this post you say that this community is worse than it ever has been. What do you mean by this?

A: When I was a player on Mc-War a year ago when some one asked a question there where 40 people lined up to help them but now even if you are new and you ask a question you are a “noob.” Me being from back when people where lined up to help I still take these ideas from back then and help as many people as I can.

6th Question
In 33Mastermine's application you did a very mean thing and this is not what I like if you where given mod.

A: In this case and I am going to explain myself one last time I was a test to see if he could handle the heat given to him because after all he is 11 years of age. Now, some thing that only he and I know is that I PMed him a Message apologizing for my actions and explaining what happened to him. He tells me in the conversation that I am forgiven and not hard feelings.
