FC'S Rants: Moderating, and, do you need it?

After I got banned from the server I was an Admin on due to "abusing my powers", which was giving items to the newbies that I trusted as a holiday gift and to persuade them to stay, I mean seriously, we only averaged 3 players. I was greeted by this immature message from owner, oodgoblin.


I woke up this morning, and I asked myself, Did I really need that rank? I thought of it, why do I want it? Why am I spending 40 minutes writing applications on PMC. Why? Just so I can have the most ranks on all servers? And that's when I decided to write this to you guys, to those thinking about being a moderator on mcbrawl, or, on any other server.

Before you write your app, ask yourself this question. Do you, see yourself as a moderator? Do you see yourself happy in this place? Don't say yes because you get powers. Do you get well along with others? Do you make new friends easily? Are you mature enough for this task? Are you just applying to as much servers you can? If you answered no to any of these, it's best not to apply.

It's a really short rant, but I hope it made your mind think twice before applying. You never know what's going to happen next.
