Armor Color

    How about adding a feature that allows you to choose what color armor you wear in the spawn, as well as FFA rounds. I'm sort of tired of the usual pink color, and I want to wear something else in the spawn other than blue armor.

    Wouldn't it cause confusion between the two teams? Unless of course it's clientside, and if it is, why not just use a texture pack?

    It won't cause any confusion in teams, because it only affects armor in FFA and Onein. Also, resource packs cannot change the color of leather armor. This is because the texture in the files is just a black-and-white texture, and the game automatically recolors it to whichever color is dyed.

    it does not really matter, but if you wish to have a different color, use a player's custom texture pack.

    You seemed to be speaking of tdm, as you said blue, so my apologies for that. Wasn't clear on the armor texture as well, as you can create different dye colors which would affect the armor I assume.

    I told you, you can't change the color of leather armor via resource packs. Read the post above yours.

    I know what you mean. Like custom armor. If anything they could add it, but its more a cosmetic thing for free for all, Gunn game, one in. I understand what you mean. I've brought this up before but I over complicated things. Have your armor color selectable from your loadout menue. Then unlock different colors based on level

    (facepalm) Did you even read the other posts? I've already said that it's not possible to change the color of leather armor with a resource pack.

    I'm sure there isn't a way to change it via a resource pack, but I should see if I can pull some strings or not... :V

    Meh..I don't know..
    How about.....no.
    Even if this would only be in one in and ffa, it would still cause players to shout hacks for you wearing a different armor color. Maybe some people won't, but those people would only be the ones that have read this. Not everyone reads the forums you know!

    People call hacks when they see a shovel shooting lethal damaging snowballs at them. They also call hacks when they're killed by a zombie in infect. Those people eventually learn that these things aren't hacks, but they're features...
    Wearing different armor wouldn't make people call hacks, it's like having armor in a match.

    Yeah! It would be cool with white colour for lvl 1-31 Yellow for lvl 31-100 Black for lvl 100+ And if you are VIP, MVP, MOD, SMOD or ADMIN your armor would change too :V
