    Well, the idea I have is basically right in the title. Personally, when playing games like BO2, I always loved to mix up and give camouflage on guns. You could unlock these camouflages at levels, or you can donate for some camouflages. These donation camouflages could be the more popular choices in games. However, since the camouflage isn't really an advantage or another gun, the donation price wouldn't be too expensive. It could be a dollar per camouflage really. The coding may be tough to code though, if even possible. If the coding isn't even possible, just lock the thread =P

    So disguise guns as other guns, or retexture them altogether? I think the first is possible (a bit difficult though, and would boost hackusations drastically) whereas the second one is limited by the lack of items not used for guns, equipments, etc.

    Like, the color of the gun your using will change with the selected camouflage. The gun camouflaged would have the same structure as it is not camouflaged, but different color. It may need retexturing other unused objects, yet as I said, it would take a hell lot of coding.

    I think this is a pretty good idea! I'd also like to color my gun. I want to make it the color PURPLR

    It's not possible to have multiple textures for one item. Sorry Hog, but this is impossible.

    Impossible to recolor an item that can't already be colored. It can't be added if it's impossible, sorry. I should lock it since it's impossible, but let's see what you come up with :V

    the solution is to get 7 items for each gun, each textured to be colored differently.

    No just keep it like how it is. But if you want it Make each gun have silk touch and the enchant can be a camo. (Will be mistaken as a hacker unless you put notices over spawn)

    Hmm, I do like the gun camo Idea but, the only way this is possible, is for every gun there would have to be (idk like 5 different items for each gun) And then all those items need to be coded to shoot, My pinion, if you want a certain camo on a gun try a editing program like Paint.net, then add your camo to the gun.

    If your heart is really set on having camouflages, use one of the resource packs that the community has created. As stated already, we do not have enough items to have every gun have at least 1 extra camo.

    The coding is possible, you could just re-texture an enchanted tool (like a diamond hoe w/ knockback 1) into a camoflauged version of it.

    Yes, but that would be annoying, considering that all the tools have been used, and that they'll have to look derpy when you hold it.

    The enchanted texture is ONE texture, there are not multiple textures for enchants.

    Also, I really don't see any point in unlocking them or even buying them when you can open up a paint program and make them...

    I don't think there is a solution, the only way, customize the gun within the texture pack to the camo you want then just use that. : )
