Idea Water Ball minigame.

Before someone says making water stay in the air isn't possible, it is.

 

I'm not sure if WorldEdit would do this reliably. I was just going to write a little program for it :v

But isn't Minecraft Party more a minigames server than a PvP server? I don't know a single gamemode that involves PvP. This idea isn't half bad, but how would spawning work? Would they spawn in the water ball when the match starts? Before it starts?

Sounds intriguing and could be a candidate for a minigame.

 

I would think they would all spawn in the middle of the ball of water, then there would be a 5 second period for all the players to spread out and to be protected from PvP. Once the timer runs out, all the players can be hit. That's how I'd do it :V V: I like the idea of this game-mode. It would be nice to have a PvP Mini-Game for a change.

 

You do have a point, but since MinecraftParty is based off of the Mario Party series in general, I think this would be a cool minigame to add.

You think coding water balls in the air and surviving inside is easy? And making the water balls flow everywhere you think thats easy, its not anyway its still a good idea but very hard to code.

Thats easy but making the water balls flow everywhere and surviving the water, not so easy I don't know it could be easy or hard it depends if Tim know the lines of code for it (Correct me if I'm wrong) but it depends.

 

I honestly believe that not only is it possible, it isn't too hard to code.

I've changed my mind about this idea, it isn't too bad of an idea. (except for maybe drowning, but then something could be coded to prevent drowning, or they could have the water breathing effect)

Party doesn't let you take damage when in water for too long. However, there was no PvP either. However, as said above, the effect water breathing or the scuba helmet would make this easy.

I've never used the Scuba helmet, how does it work?

 

This is like, 5 minutes of work.
