What does :V mean?

The face came from some people who made it. It became so popular that everyone started using it. The face is kinda of like 'yes' or 'yus' in a sense. If you look at it closely, it looks like a chickens face... :V

 

Ex Super Mod D3RGPS31 brought it to the community long ago. Its meaning has no formal definition. The more you are around the D3 face, the more you understand its meaning. I use it mainly when explaining a hard reality or correcting someone. It is used when you want to say something that could be taken the wrong way, but you want it to be clear that it is intended gently.
Example 1: "I bet my kdr is better than yours noob"
"Well actually it's twice yours :V"
Example 2: "Oh look, the noob pulls off another lucky nuke"
"Maybe I'm more skilled than you think? :V"

Sometimes, it can be used to explain something that seems obvious.
Example 1: "Why hasn't anyone responded to my question in the Q & A section?"
"Normals can't comment there, you know :V"
Example 2: "Why didn't you talk in the Skype call yesterday?"
"Because you didn't add me, fool :V"
