Here are some quick tips to improve your OITC skills. Hope you learned from this!
1. Guns: The gun you use in OITC is crucial. I would recommend using an m9 because of it's slow fire rate (I will explain that later.) accuracy, and no recoil. If the map is smaller I would suggest using an executioner. For optimum accuracy and "sniping" , use the deagle (credits to Signatured and BBslayer). The deagle has amazing accuracy even without it's scope and has a high radius of range.
2. Settings: Optimal settings are a high render distance, sensitivity, and fast graphics. They will reduce your lag, see enemies further, and help shoot/turn faster.
3. Aiming: I would suggest hitting f3 + b to show the hitbox of players so you shoot easier. You don't necessarily need to "aim" in this but having hitbox on is helpful.
4. Camping: Obviously this is reserved for when you have 1 life left. When you do it is vital to camp in a small room or enclosed area. If you want to do this do it with an executioner so when they come in you spray them with bullets causing immediate death.
5. Gear: By gear I mean molotovs, flashbangs, etc. Molotovs are useful in OITC because of the fact that they 1-hit. Flashbangs are deadly because they essentially screw the person that you threw it at. Grenades aren't that good in this because of their explosion timer. Tomahawks are risky because they are very hard to use and are risky. c4's are good for camping because then you can just put one at the door and explode it when danger lurks (don't do this to me or I will rage :/).
6. Shooting: When you shoot make sure to never spam your mouse or hold it. The reason being is because if you kill someone and get another bullet, you might accidently waste it by spamming the mouse. When using an executioner to shoot, always go up a little bit close to the person or shoot them from behind.
