    Hmm... Let's think. There have been a lot more bad applications... But why? Even before Sky played on the servers, there were a lot of those bad applications. I personally think the staff might partially be responsible for this. A lot of people envision staff members as above them and scary (sometimes), as well as someone to give respect to. But if you friend a staff member, you're friendly to each other, and the staff member will be more casual, causing the other people to think, "Wow! It's gonna be so easy to get mod, everyone here is so nice! Why do you guys think there are more bad applications now? Post in the comments, and vote in the poll :v

    Why there are more bad apps: New members think their first post (their app) can get them mod. I have also noticed a lot of immaturity around here...

    I have to say that when I joined this community, in January of 2013, we used to see staff with way more respect and in a more "This guys are awesome, I'll probably never be one of them" way. Now, people act like getting a staff position is way easier than it actually is...

    This could be interpreted as a good thing. If you think about it, more staff applications COULD mean more players in general which is good for the servers. But maybe that's just me being optimistic.

    I think it has nothing to do with current staff if I am perfectly honest.
    Every server that accepts moderator applications, is always going to get bad & good ones. It just happens that mostly, the majority are 'Bad' applications. Obviously, when players are on servers, and they ask, 'greenpeace how r u mod' and I reply with 'I applied on the forums' both the person asking and the people who see that, are going to apply, because, everyone wants to be staff. It's the way things are. Hence, why there are so many 'bad applications'.

    Glad to see you weren't the only one... I did this aswell, though it wrecked my chances of ever getting mod ... but I'm not mod yet, we will have to reveal what the future awaits us..
