This item is a tactical. Basically, you spawn with 5 cobweb blocks. You can place these cobweb blocks as barriers or as a temporary wall from incoming fire. Players can slowly walk through the barriers, like normally in-game. However, if a block gets shot too much times, then it will break. Explosives will instantly destroy walls. They can also be broken by swords. The walls also disappear after a certain time period, or when the person who placed them dies. Also, you can't use these to exploit maps, because 1:
-It is impossible to directly stand on cobweb blocks, and you will just sink through.
-The collision physics of cobweb blocks do not behave like normal solid blocks, so it is impossible to use them as makeshift platforms.
If there is any way to improve this, then tell me, and I will update the post.

I have good emotions for this idea, but this would be unbelievably OP in Infect.

It shouldn't. The walls are instantly destroyed by explosives, and alot of zombies have either C4 or grenades.

I think 5 is enough, no need for 10.

I actually like this idea. It would be useful in more than a few situations. I would purchase this if it was an actual tactical.

Cool tactical and seems like it can't be abused for OoM. C:

I like it. But, like for all good suggestions, I have a question:
Are these more along the lines of barbed wire (which could damage an enemy like in WarZ) or is it more like simple sandbags -- acting as a passive barrier?

Damaging the player like barbed wire would be too OP, so it just acts like a normal barrier.

Bumping this thread back up, as it's a server idea.
The only problem I really see with this is that you can still move through the cobwebs and see through them. Kind of a minor bug, but still.

this could be used for trolling/annoying people, you could place this in major pathways or around your team's spawn.

Since you can change the behaviour of blocks in coding, I'm sure there is a way to make the cob-web effect apply for the opposing team.

Oh and Griffy, if this is implemented your in charge of turning the texture into sandbags
