Am I the only one here has dealt with anyone with suicidal thoughts/self harm/eating disorders etc. You guys clearly don't understand how it works.

 

Most people don't really understand how it feels to go through those feelings. I understand how it feels to go through these kind of feelings...

Often times, there isn't or aren't very many people to turn to within the home. Often that can be a source of the problem. School, does nothing but notify the home. Still a problem. Friends, or fellow students can do nothing but tell other students or teacher, which leads to a call home. Often, the best solution (as far out as It may be) is to talk to a stranger. Someone without bias. Someone who doesnt know you. Someone who cannot judge you. They have the blankest, fairest judgement on you, as you both are nothing but a mystery to one another. And as such, nothing but a true impression is made.

Its not purposely seeking out a younger crowd but seemingly anyone within a trusted community. With a hope to be able to assist and or just simply provide the reassuring thought that someone cares.

And those are exactly the people that they're trying to seek out.

When people have troubles in their lives, all we have to do as HUMAN BEINGS is listen to them. Who cares where they go? As long as they HAVE a place to go, thats fine. Just be respectful and not so ignorant

Im usually a cool headed guy but this level of ignorance makes me pissed!
My cousin committed suicide and that had a huge effect on my family and relatives. So don't come on here thinking you know better than everyone else. All you are doing is being hurtful.
P.S. Most of this community is 14+ and I myself am 19. Even if it is a young community, people can still help.

Well, there are kids on these forums who have probably known what it feels like. They aren't 12 year olds. And even if they are 12, doesn't mean there stupid. Lots of 12 year old kids go through depression.

I know this is basically a reply to my old thread, this is just, honestly stupid. There is no point in making this thread.
