Flame thrower is bad

Explanation?

 

Its not that bad, of-course of its low damage etc... but it applies flame damage over time. Yes the flamethrower could use a very slight damage buff. However... the flamethrower can be used to troll people, for example:
Say that I come around the corner and see somebody, I shoot at them and I start to run, they either come at me and attempt to kill me or they try to find the nearest water or try to hide.

 

A bit more detail please? But I agree, that the flamethrower does need a buff. Two hearts of damage per bullet would be good.

 

I don't use it since it started shooting bullets. It really needs some changes. Already talked to orange, he will be working on it soon...

 

It's fun but it's still very UP for a donor gun.

 

The Flamethrower isn't supposed to kill people in a very short time.
It's designed to burn the opponent, and give a sadistic death.

 

Your best bet with flamethrower? Move around with some friends in a little squad, and become Team Tactical, with each person playing a different role. If you had the flamethrower, consider yourself the support :v

Okay, I agree that it is underpowered but you really need to give a detailed explanation when posting your thoughts

 

It's not underpowered if you know how to use it. To use it effectively, it takes a lot of skill/practice.

 

A Flamethrower is a tactical weapon, progressive as oppose to instant damage, but it very effective against large groups of people. Everyone has a preference of which guns they are better using, but I don't think that 'Underpowered' is a valid comment to make.

 

Flamethrower is more of a support weapon.
Not good enough for offense as you can't push your enemies back.
It's okay for defense such as when you're trying to run away and slow them down with flames.
It's more to help your friends kill or finish weak enemies.

 

Actually, if done right, you can push enemies back.

 

Please don't make undetailed threads like this because it makes you appear as an immature and younger forum member. Your actions will reflect on how we see you.

 

A mod told me its a temp nerf. Also you need a good class for it too make it effective in game.

 

It is more of a tactical or Support weapon than anything.

 

The flamethrower is more of a support weapon than anything. It should receive a small buff, but nothing more. Also, I suggest putting more reason instead of "underpowered" in your thread.
It is getting a huge buff in the update :l
