    So since when i started playing Mc-War ive always heard players talk german and other languages... Now its getting critical chinese people are taking over the chat! Yes , this is no joke. Either install some plugin to ignore people or yust install a channels plugin that every person can choose their channel if they dont want to hear other players 1 more thing. English should be mandatory in main chat!

    Instead of doing that it would be better, if possible, to translate it. Each player can select their language and chat will be translated in to their chosen language.

    So my Minecraft is set to English, people can still write in spanish because it basically uses the same letters. They are still writing in spanish

    If it annoys you that much then turn off the chat. Ranting about people who can't speak English is a bit harsh, don't you think?

    I don't really see the problem, you don't have to read what they're saying. Players of different countries are playing MCWar, deal with it. :smile:

    It seems rather critical to base this just on a variation of language. However, I do understand why it would annoy some people therefore if it really does irritate you that much, I would suggest something like this: http://dev.bukkit.org/bukkit-plugins/vectron-translate/ in the correct forum.

    Yeah! This is an epic plug-in! It works realy well, but spamms the chat very much and you need a Microsoft Translator Client-ID and a Microsoft Translator Secret-Key.

    No, just no. Like onik2011 said, it would spam the chat. Besides that, I bet the translations are really bad (just like Google Translator).

    Yes you're probably right about the poor translation, and to be perfectly honest, I find it unnecessary, but if people are really that bothered about a variation in language, there isn't really many other solutions. Apart from telling them to deal with it which I would support.
