Abuse of Mods

Some people see mods as an opportunity to take advantage of someone. At this point, it's all on the mods, and you could see it as a phase of initiation, having people complain "in the field." This is where mods need to step up an be leaders, and Sarge can definitely do that <3

 

I didn't ban anyone last night.....I think.

 

Don't worry, Ollie said that they'll be removing the /fp command from mods soon. <3

 

I never ban people only because they ask. If they spam to get banned I kick them 2 times first, than ban. Thats what I do with all spammers and bad people.
Also I never change map on request, only if I know there is ahard glitch on the map (valhalla_inf) or if it is for bug checking.

That sucks somehow, its very good for bug checking.

 

Yeah, but mods abuse it and change the map because they don't like it. Not all mods, but I mean some mods.

 

Then why should I apply any more? D:

If that happens, be sure to make sure it is reported.

Also, it is nice to see our staff being appreciated for the difficult jobs they have to do regularly.

 

I havent seen a lot of mods abusing /fp lately, but maybe that's just me.

 

That's why I wont apply for Mc-War :V
Gonna get my computer fixed, then I will start getting TS3 up.

 

They don't mean the mods are abusing their powers, they mean people are abusing mods by spamming them.

 

The conversation began to spiral off on to mods abusing, as oppose to players abusing mods. That's what caused the confusion.

 

I feel that Moderator of any network get harassed. Especially in WarZ, I have one player who keeps heckling me saying I'm nine. But of course, I just ignore him.
But good job Sarge!

 

I don't really get anything from WarZ players, they all seem pretty cool.

I really don't care if they like me as long as the job is done. I have happened to used to team with this player and then he got mad and started this... more people got in on it but some people know I'm not 9, I'm 14... such as @Sonicluke2000 and @rainywolvess... sorry for offtopic though!

 

I'll be happy when the /fp command is removed from Moderators. Simply because I cannot play 10 minutes without being asked to change the map, simply because it is GunGame or OneIn. Plus, it removes the temptation from Moderators altogether from using it. Good to know Sarge is large and in charge.

 

I feel as if War Moderators are pressured to do the wrong thing. Many players know you can't change maps upon request yet do it anyways. Once /fp is removed they will be upset or sad but it'll be for the overall best.

 

It is their responsibility to know right from wrong on the servers. If they are asked to change the map, they have to make it clear to the players that they shall not be changing the map, unless for bug testing. No matter how hard this may be for them, depending on the server at the time, that is one of their jobs.

 

Dosent matter if ththemmand is removed they will still ask. I get asked to reset stats donation issues and even unban players and get some odd requests too.

 

Well, we needed a tough mod. One whom can stand his ground in the field of battle, luckily for Mc-War, Sargeant is just that. gg
