    I was thinking, to prevent gravedigs we could set up the forums so that every section (besides resource packs and staff applications etc.) to have threads automatically delete themselves if they go onto the 6th page (5 page max)

    Not sure about this. I would just have them lock themselves... But is there a plugin for that?
    Also, server ideas shouldn't be able to be locked, and some other stuff.

    If there is a plugin for auto locking, I am sure you can tweak it to not lock certain forums.

    That's why I put a etc. after staff applications and resourcepacks because there was bound to be other stuff

    I think certain discussion threads should be locked if they haven't been replied to after three weeks.

    I don't think that threads should be deleted. Probably lock threads that could be gravedug instead.

    I'm not a big fan of this suggestion if I am perfectly honest.
    Server ideas are never really viewed intensely before an update is on this way, so if there happened to be many suggestions, we may lose some great ideas.
    Nevertheless, I see no reason why they couldn't be locked...
    We'll need a Website Developer first anyway.
