    I have never even attempted to code a minecraft plugin in my life, nor learn the slightest bit of JAVA.
    So all this plugin talk is alien to me.

    Because the redstone generates too much lag for some weak computers.

    If I was good enough, I could re-make whole MC-War in commandblocks. REALLY hard though.

    I'd like to see you make guns/GUI selection dialogue with command blocks. I'd like to see you save player progress, and unlock guns at a certain level.

    And I'd love to see you prevent friendly fire.


    Not everything is within the reach of command blocks.

    Guns are extremely hard. GUI, same. Player progress, you could use a complicated scoreboard system. Friendly fire is easy to prevent. /scoreboard teams option (team name) friendlyFire false

    Friendly fire w guns. What happens when they leave? The scoreboard won't be saved afaik.

    Minecraft is quickly growing more advanced. It's a little like programming now. (for maps, at least) Cwnt wait to see what they develop next! :v

    You can't play with plugins in single player (long car or airplane ride :V) unless you have a mod that allows plugins in SP or wifi everywhere :V
    And I don't have the latter V:

    Never, probably. You can also use Skript(no link 4 u, google) if that's your kind of thing. I'm also looking to include a lot of the Bukkit API using commands(commands like /setblock, only with events as well).

    Turrets are easy... essentially you hook up a redstone clock onto a dispenser filled wih arrows/snowballs.
