Should rule-breaker reports contain a reward for the Plaintiff / Reporters?

    I've seen this on other servers before and I'm certain this suggestion will work for McBrawl. It's really simple. Everytime a person reports a rule breaker, that person will get a tiny reward if the report is successful meaning the evidence is valid. This will definitely encourage more players to report people and probably more forum members to come into the forums too. Also, I do have something for the level of rule breaking. Advertisers are very easy to catch and report but hackers are harder because you can't simply screenshoot a No Knockback or Forcefield so I propose this.

    Advertisers = Small rewards
    Hackers / Ddos'ers = Larger rewards
    Spammers / Glitchers = Smallest rewards

    So what about the players being reported on the servers? Well I thought you could get simple things as rewards for that server. For example, you get some credits for reporting a player on Mc-war or you spawn with a T2 pistol the next time you play WarZ after you reported someone. With this, there is a reward belonging to which server you reported the rule breaker from. However, I wouldn't suggest donor item rewards because it would be chaotic unless you report something like Team Lixo's griefing.

    I personally think it would be up to the staff to decide what kind of rewards should be made.

    Pros:
    - More rule breakers caught and banned
    - Staff can find out who is the Plaintiff reporting the player ( Encouraging reward system )
    - Many people will start looking for more rule breakers to report
    - More people will join the forums

    Cons:
    - More people on forums = More new member applications
    - People will post reports in the wrong section
    - Invalid evidence in reports
    - Spamming rule breaker reports or spamming on staff member's pages
    - People will encourage others to break the rules for rewards
    - Many people will report the same person for the reward

    So what do you guys think of this suggestion?

    I love it, however it might prove to be ineffective if 7 people report the same advertiser. This could be fixed by giving the first 2-3 people to report a player a reward, and the more people that report the player, the smaller the reward.

    I think this would be nice.
    If the admins ever decide to do that Brawl Points thing, I think that would be a pretty good reward.

    I like this idea, it would be a reward for people who do the right thing. With this reward though there would be a lot of people trying to get one when the *hacker* is not really a hacker. Otherwise, it is a good incentive for people to report.

    I have gotten like 10-25 reports....of glitchers and advertisers, other people, but I gave screens to Matty for help, however, he doesn't play anymore :V btw there's a gallery coming soon with nade glitch collection which is outdated. Abstract art man, a true art.....screenshotted by me...

    Since the idea has not been implemented yet, the thread will remain unlocked.
    We have about 2000 reports altogether, dating back to late June 2013.

    I agree with this idea, I worked to get all these hackers on tape. I lag everytime I record and everytime I upload; I get killed by people who aren't even that good. I think there should be a reward for sacrificing so much CPU to record and upload videos on hackers.
