    Update: We actually lost our beacon to a creeper, but I was able to get two more wither skulls in the next five minutes :happy:

    It's funny how obsidian's blast resistance is like 6,000.

    It takes 3 obsidian to make a beacon;
    Beacon's blast resistance is 15.

    I agree completely. With 6 blocks of obsideon, the resistance would be over 9,000!
