New Ranks Idea

    Hey guys,
    Yeah I know you haven't seen me before but I have only just joined the forums although I have been on this server for about a month now. So hello my name is Rich and here is my idea. Anyway I don't want to bore you so lets get to the point. I was thinking. You have Noob rank then Member rank. Now to make the server more interesting and for people to play it longer, I was thinking that there could be more ranks. So Noob will still be there. Then member and then after that you have have at least more than 4 other ones that you either achieve by paying coins or playing the server for an amount of time. Now if they struggle to reach to the highest rank, they could donate for coins allowing them to pay to get it and each rank has a bonus perk.
    That may have made no sense but here's a nutshell version:
    I was thinking to add 4 or more ranks which each have a bonus perk. To reach these ranks you can either: Pay by coins or play for a certain amount of time on the server. Yes I know this is annoying to do but I think it would make people excited by having a goal to reach.

    Please add more detail about the ranks them selfs. Sort from that. Not a bad first post.

    I like this idea. It is certainly not a Pay to Win idea, and it gives people who have been playing for a long time a benefit, since it allows them to have special permissions or whatever. Add more detail, welcome to our forums, and nice idea!

    Thanks but not yet sure on what the ranks are called or what they get but I was just trying to see if people like the idea then I will expand. :smile:

    I'm not so sure about 4 ranks.. maybe slightly too many.
    But I see no reason why there couldn't be a rank you could purchase with coins. Perhaps it may not even be a ranked prefix.. The username of the player could just be in a different colour, &a for example (Light Green).
    I think adding more stuff to make more of a goal on MinecraftParty is a pretty good idea.

    Welcome rich I like the idear. The server is pretty new and they are probably going to add much more stuff to it in the near future. :smile:

    This has the potential to be implemented as part of MinecraftParty. If you actually want this to be implemented, I suggest you take some time and make another well thought out post. In this post, state the names and new features of the rank. Its a good idea, but there is not enough information for anything to be added yet. Good luck! :smile:

    Needs to be clarified. But I like the idea of having a set goal to try and achieve instead of just playing. +1

    Yes I love it, like Venom said they are like goals. This will encourage players to stay on more to get the time or the coins and unlock the ranks. Maybe we could add in-game achievements too? If we do add these ranks, I don't want them to add the same features VIP has because vip is currently our only donor rank and we still need donators. I do think this will get more players involved and I hope to see it added! +1

    Awh thanks everyone! But I was thinking that you would have a tiny bit or the perks for VIP as then VIP would still be higher up than that. I am trying to think up names. I will set up a post with a poll tonight deciding whether you want it and then stating the names below and asking for ideas but thanks :smile:
