New weapon: DRL

    this is called DRL (Double Rocket Launcher)
    • it is an automatic rpg
    • firing rate: 1 every 2 seconds
    • clip size: 2||16 when starting
    • damage per hit: 10 hit points (five hearts)
    • knock back: 1 block per shot
    • ammo: redstone
    • item used: shears
    • reload time: 10 seconds
    • unlocked: level 45
    • cost: 880+ credits
    • Other: instead of shooting the wither heads (as output) like the LAW, it shoots arrows (fully charged, the max length and power of a bow), similar to the crossbow. This makes it a little harder to aim (unlike a certain rpg we all know, and not all of us love, which is as accurate as a sniper) and has travel time.
    Note: this is not a LAW. The only similarity is them both in the rpg familt, the travel time, and the explosion. The only thing better is that arrows travel faster than wither heads.

    This is not INTENDED to become a donor gun, nor is it intended to offend any country or race (which it shouldn't because it probably INS'T REAL, but just in case one of you are from a different planet :stuck_out_tongue:).

    This type of gun has been suggested before. Please check before posting. Nice detail, and good to see you posting on the forums.

    Actually, it seems pretty balanced. Like a crossbow that explodes on impact. It seems like a good idea, but weapons with an aoe are probably best left to the donation shop.

    We don't need any new guns, and this one sounds very unrealistic and unnecessary. Way too overpowered as well. It's a fully automatic crossbow, and the crossbow we currently have is already destructive enough.
    10 second reload time? Wait...WHAT?!

    Hm, an explosive based weapon that's way more UP than law, yet that it's available to non-donors? Oh ho ho, I like the sound of this. :smile:

    P.S. Will the accuracy be as good as the law and ray-gun, or will it be as bad as a sniper unless you zoom?

    P.P.S. I don't think the texture looks very good. You might want to try something different.

    Shears are already in use, I believe.
    Shears are the detonation control for C4.

    If you can find another item, I'll reconsider..
    Sounds like a good weapon though.

    The texture is a bit iffy.
    This as well. I would re-create the texture, to make it look more McWar style.

    the LAW is unrealistic, the LAW is overpowered, this is not. Many tanks have a gun than works similar to this, and there is travel time, curve effect, 2 second wait before the next shot, a clip size of 2 rockets, 10 second reload,and only 5 hearts of damage if hit. I'm sure anyone who can would use a LAW instead.

    This is not meant to be a donor item, since this is pretty much a WAY buffed down rpg, this is just so the broke trolls can have fun.:wink:

    I'm fine with it not being shears, I couldnt access the resource pack to check what was used, so i just piccke an item I KNOW wasn't in use.

    This is not as accurate as a LAW, it is supposed to have the curve effect

    I learned that most Mc-War textures are fan made, so it probably won't look like my version, I tried to make it have a future Forerunner/UNSC look, and work like the ones on tanks work.

    It is twice as slow as an Isolator. Is that what you want? Plus the reload is long....
    I suppose the damage makes up for the reload, but the firing speed is slow.

    It's not just unrealistic, it's beyond unrealistic. Still, I can't think of any good reason to add this.

    So you're saying you don't want this added because it is unrealistic? Well then I am going to start a thread saying "Remove the Ray-Gun, it is unrealistic!".

    OK that is a coincidence, DRL stands for double rocket launcher, i have no idea where he came from

    this is realistic, there are tanks that have weapons similar to this, and its not that to make anyways in real life, you just need to add a pivot point the rocket storage can rotate on, and set it to rotate and set when the triger is pulled.It is not that hard
    its supposed to be like that
    yes that is what I want, it is not supposed to be very OP
