Makes sense. That is a "loophole method", but if it works, then it should be used.

Doesn't matter how you do it as long as it works.

this can be coded rather easily i believe. simply when you switch to a different slot in your hotbar, the gun stops reloading, and you have to start the reloading again. not something where when you go to a different hotbar slot, it switches your hand back to the reloading gun. jsut my thoughts

That's what would be preferred, but it does seem hard to code (or is it just me?). I don't know why I think that, but to me, it seems that the reload is attached to that weapon, so it will continue reloading until it's finished.

I don't think Bukkit can check what hotbar slot you have selected.
Maybe it can detect the item you're holding.
    I don't code, so meh.

hmm. im not good with coding, but it might be done.
That would probably work better than my suggestion

The "extra bullet" in the chamber isn't realistic. In order to unload a gun u need to pull the bolt back (ejecting the bullet) unload the magazine, load a full magazine, then push the bolt forward (loading a bullet) into the chamber.

I actually know very little about guns, but I guess you are right. However, does that mean that a bullet is actually wasted? If this is true, then in CoD, that bullet magically finds it's way back into a mag...

I like the reload delay currently in Mc-War. You have to remember that it's all relative, so everybody is at the same disadvantage. So no, sleight of hand is not a waste of a perk.

So your saying that driving away from CoD is a bad idea? I mean, who doesn't want faster reload times?

Actually a minigun clip can hold 999 bullets and it can reload. It is the same reload time as the iso I think. ( I had the time to get over 1000 bullets for the mini gun and shoot them in the range, it took a while... )

In no way is this viable in a real match.
Unless you were the 9000% ultimate MLG camper.
But all I do with the minigun is run and and rambo spray people.

i like the idea of delayed reload time, even if it does mean going away from CoD.
it depends on the type of gun. for certain guns, you dont have to charge the gun again (pull the bolt back and the push forward again) if you reload mid-magazine. the gun is kept "charged" while you just put another magazine into it. the bullet is chambered the entire time.
