So, i'm really dying at this point, and I figured i'd just reach out to you all for help.
    For some reason, minecraft... lags.
Oh boy here comes EVERYONE saying get a better computer!
If that's all you're gonna say, please, just get out now.

Anyways, i'm looking for some help, because I need to fix this. This lag is terrible, it's dropping me to litterally 1fps, and along with that, this isn't straight minecraft lag, no for some reason i've been getting computer STUTTERS.
    Yes, stutters.
The whole thing locks up and so does the sound for a second or two, and I have no clue why this is doing this.
My computer is good, 2GB NVIDIA Geforce GTX, along with an I7 Quad, 8gb of RAM.
If any of you can possibly help out with this, i'm not sure if i'm ratted or if my computer is just flatout dying.
Any possible helps on performance, for both minecraft and my P.C, would be appreciated, i've tried everything at this point i've legitimately contemplated quitting minecraft as a whole because of this.

(Feel free to laugh at me, really, i'm embarrassed that I can't fix this myself)
    Solved, requesting lock.

Tell your computer to stop lagging. Problem finished.

Here are some more suggestions to boost your performance even more.
    1. Overclock your graphics card.
    2. Reinstall/Update Java
    3. Configure your graphics card settings.
    4. Close and terminate any unecessary applications running in the background, especially browsers.

Guys, the problem isn't just Minecraft.
This is the best advice I can see. Otherwise, take it to some computer shop so they can run a diagnosis to see exactly what is wrong.

    • New Graphics Card
    • Change FPS in Video Settings to MAX in Minecraft
    • Delete Viruses that might have came with the Mod Folder / Texture Pack
    • Delete any useless .rar .jar files on your desktop
    • Go to the start menu > Control Panel > Uninstall a Program > Search for words ''Wizard'' > Delete em all
Works for me, I have done it 7+ times and my PC runs brand new! I hope you like my suggestion :3

Open your minecraft launcher and click edit profile, you will find a option near the bottom that says Xm-1g, something like that, since you have 8gb ram change the 1 with 5 or 6, make sure to tick box. When mc is open, change video setting so fps is at max, changr it to fast not fancy and mess around with render distance to setting wanted. I have 3 gb ram on mc and run 200fps+ no problem like this.

make sure you update any software, get optifine and then look up how to increase fps with optifine. Hope this helped.

    -Optifine
-Allocate more RAM to Minecraft by editing the JVM arguments in your minecraft profile through the launcher
-Make sure you're running less programs while playing Minecraft
-Or, you can use these settings while playing Minecraft (some of these settings require optifine) 2014-02-01_15.51.51.png
