    A lot of people think all my ideas are too OP, so I'll make one to screw all the OP weapons over
    • Misfire: a random fail of the weapon, could damage the user (uncommon), just not shoot a bullet (common), or both (rare), the better the weapon, the higher the misfire rate is.

    This seems to me like it would generate more rage than balance. The last thing you need is for your weapon to malfunction at a critical point.

    Now, in real life, unless you don't take care of them and misuse them, weapons won't malfunction at critical points. COD and Battlefield assumes that you take extremely good care of these weapons, so they never malfunction. The point of this is?
    If anything, it would cause more rage. In my opinion, it's like asking to increase the Iso's firerate and damage.

    Yeah, people would just rage when they get like a 20ks and then die of the damage from their own gun. I am sorry, I just really don't like this idea. :/

    Exactly... We don't need an Iso with the firerate of an MSR, that would ruin the server. What I'm trying to say is that if this was to be added, it would probably ruin the server.

    there is a way to calculate the chance of a misfire: take the percentage of damage it does from the health (20 hit points), add the range, then move the decimal point over to the right to get a decimal with only a ones place on the right side of the decimal point, then add the level the gun is unlocked is at to the decimal then move the decimal point over to the right to get a smaller number with no ones place.
    A gun ulocked at level 50 that does 2 hearts per heart per hit (4 hit points) and has a range of 20 blocks. it would have a misfire rate of .542% percent of a misfire

    Your ideas are great, just you have to change a little bit of it. If you do not like the critisism that people are saying and I believe most are just trying to help, then just message a mod or admin with your proposal. Most of us are just trying to help, so if you have an idea for a gun, go for it. It doesen't matter if its good, bad, or in between. Remember, you miss 100% of the shots you don't take.

    Idea: Cant happen to anything above a 5 killstreak so you cant do super good then misfire and die.
