It needs magic in it, then it will get popular you know magical team hg it will get addictive.

 

It also needs the spark of a youtuber showcasing it to make it even more popular.

 

Probably Sky. Although if this happens, it will bring all the Sky fanatics that scream when they find out that they can't get "butter".

 

Yeah I feel like no one on the community ever post anything about the hg servers...Is it just me?

 

I disagree with the customs maps part. I think that is what makes it different from Survival Games. The regular terrain and map make it more like an actually "Hunger Games" match.

Besides this, I do agree that Team-HG needs some help. And fast.

 

After seeing Minestrike and Kitpvp fail, it would be depressing to see another server go. I think custom maps would be good, but how would a tournament sound? We could attract players and offer a decent prize to the team that wins.

 

I used to play sooooooooooo much Team-Hg...
I hardly ever play now because barely because of Pvp survival.

 

Magic would be really fun in this. Like tier wands and potions and stuff like that (not the WorldEdit wand) that shoot like a blast or shoot a fireball that when it lands it creates a push or damage AoE.
Here are some ideas:

• Wand of Snow: When fired, the ball (like a ghast projectile) shots in a line and when it hits the ground/wall/player, it creates a 6x6x6 snow blocks, however this does not remove blocks that were already placed. The snow can be very annoying for players because they can die in the snow or it blocks their paths. The cool down on this should be about 10 or 15 seconds long.
• Wand of Fire: This staff sends a fire ball (blaze fireball) to the player, the fire ball its self deals 1 heart of damage and the fire lasts about 2 seconds. The cool down on using this would be like a 4 or 6 second cool down before this can be used again.
• Wand of Creation: The staff summons a skeleton to fight for you. However this staff has a 30 second cooldown. There is a 2% chance that the skeleton will have iron armor on.

These are just some simple ideas that we can go in more depth to on magic and stuff like that.
The tournament sounds like a great idea.

 

We need something to spice up Team-hg. Even though I haven't played it, this servers seems to be going to join Minestrike and KitPvP soon. We need a tournament and everything that @Parkman1221 said except for custom maps. ORANGE PLEASE HALP THE TEAM HG SERVER.
