Idea Elimination [Gamemode]

    This is a game that I came up with last night called Elimination. I wanted to use guns but at the same time I didn't want to make it a game changer. I was hesitant about using food like in warz (lapis, yellow dye etc.). NOTE: The following information is a basic idea, feel free to comment your opinions.

    Main Idea for guns: You can craft them BUT heres the catch...You can only have 4 guns that you can craft and then a few more that you can get from the Drop-Off Zone(Read Below) that have already been crafted. This part is probably the most debatable since some may want a sniper to be tier 4 or a pistol but only 1 type of gun can have 1 tier rank example: 1 sniper (tier 1), 1 automatic (tier 2), 1 shotgun (tier 3), 1 pistol (tier 4) and thats it plus the guns you can get in the Drop-Off Zone.

    • 4 teams (Blue, Red, Purple, Yellow)
    • 4 or 5 Stages (the 5th stage could start a sudden death if the game isn't going fast enough)
    • Stage 1 and 2 includes gathering resources and preparing for stage 3.
    • Stage 3 is when the Drop-Off occurs, this takes place in the middle. It's called the Drop-Off Zone(Read Below).
    • Stage 4 is a point of the game when the Dpad(Read Below) of another team and your team is taken down by 2x the damage.
    • Stage 5(optional) is basically a stage that makes the game end...This stage is when sudden death occurs and the Dpad can be taken down with 3x the damage.

    DROP OFF ZONE
    • Includes chests that have food, diamonds, tier 2/3 guns(remember guns are limited) and ammo.
    • You cannot open the chests(due to hacked clients), instead you must break the chest with an axe. When you break it the items inside automatically goes into the inventory of whoever broke it, the items don't just drop on the floor.
    • Chests regenerate after (?) minutes of being broken.

    THE DPAD
    • the Dpad is a 3x3 platform that a team must defend. They also have to destroy the other teams Dpad in order to win unless we implement stage 5, in which a team can kill everyone without destroying the Dpad and win.
    • Destroying the Dpad requires a player to stand on it and the health of the Dpad will slowly but surly decrease. When it is destroyed the players on the team with the destroyed Dpad only have 1 life.
    • Repairing the Dpad is something I have thought about but I'm not sure how you would do that, maybe it could be a donor rank.

    OBJECTIVE: Basically destroy the teams Dpad and kill the surviving players.

    How long would you estimate this gamemode would take?
    Taking into consideration most gamemodes on MinecraftParty currently last around 2minutes.

    yeah this would be a more advanced gamemode for minecraft party...defenatly not 2 minutes

    I would suggest this as a completely new server, not as a gamemode for Minecraft Party. It just doesn't fit.

    Sounds very fun. However it sounds wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy to long. I suggest re-thinking this a lot. Its a good idea, but then a texture pack would be required, and it would just just be confusing. We need simple short and fun games for MinecraftParty. This one is complicated long and fun. 1/3 of the way :stuck_out_tongue:

    Its a good idea but it seems way to long of a game to complete in under 3 minutes which all party games are under. Is there any way to make the game go faster?

    I like this idea a lot, but it doesn't really fit in with the idea of Mc Party. Otherwise, I luve it!

    This sounds like it would take a long time, and I don't think MarioParty/MinecraftParty needs guns in it or survival stuff, I think it just needs fun short small minigames.

    Seems to complicated and too difficult to code for just one gamemode. It's a very indepth and cool idea but it doesn't fit well with the minecraft party style.

    I find this more as a totally new server, because in order to gather resources (stage 1 and 2) you are going to want at least 5 minuets. even if each stage is 30 seconds you only have 1 min to get resources, and another minute to kill all of the teams. But I do indeed love the idea.

    Seems very complicated. It could take more than 2 minutes as @GreenPeas_ said.
    Its a good idea, just might take too long, and its kinda complicated

    Guns don't fit the theme of MCParty. This idea would work more for Mc-War. Also, it's kinda too complex to be a minigame here.
