    My goal here was to create a replacement for the default texture pack. Some of the original pack's textures were sort of sloppy. Most of them were improvised, and inaccurate. That's why I'm here to change that. I present you the "New Default" pack, a texture pack designed to provide all kinds of players an enhanced authentic experience. I based it off the default to retain the originality, but with refreshed textures. I hope that this can become the replacement for the default in the future. I also added download options for custom gun sounds.
    CREDITS:
    Guns: Modified/textured by me, using the default pack(by chickenputty) as the base.

    I completely revamped the M16 and the M4A1 to match their real-life appearances. I tweaked and improved the contrast on the AK and FAMAS. The prestige guns were completely revamped, based off of the AK and the M16.

    I went and started from scratch for all of the shotguns. They are now more neat and resemble their real-life counterparts even better.

    I went ahead and did the same with all the snipers. The guns look much more realistic, especially the Barrett, which is no longer a grayed-out version of the L118A. The prestige snipers look more neat and sharp, with better shading.

    Most of the handguns were were made from scratch.The USP and the M9 are no longer swapped. The Desert Eagle and Python were revamped to give a more menacing appearance. The Magnum was relatively unchanged, with an improvement in coloring of the handgrip and outlining.

    The SMG's were cleaned up and reshaped, to look more realistic and clean.

    The crossbow now actually looks like a crossbow, as well as the flamethrower. The Tomahawk is no longer a fire axe. The Molotov and Flashbang are left mostly default for now, but I may replace them in the future.

    The pack also includes knife textures, as well as a better C4 and detonator texture.
    The armor also resembles combat armor, rather than a plain camouflage outfit with kneepads. Also keep in mind that although the armor is white, the game automatically recolors it to any color, such as blue, red, etc.

    Although the deagle does look a bit derpy, its quite long, maybe a like something to balance it, this is just a suggestion.
    But still, I like this :3

    Pretty good looking textures. I really like how the Superknife looks. You might want to add a slight pale yellow outline around the Superknife just to make it a little more appealing.

    P.S. I like it, but I unfortunately don't use 16x16 resource packs.

    P.S.S. That flamethrower looks so beast!

    I can't stand that mini texture, but I could easily edit that :smile:. I do really like the textures though, especially that cbow!

    While I did notice that a lot of the textures were similar to the default textures, I do like this pack. I've been waiting for a pack like this for a while. Some of these textures should go in the official War pack :V

    I tried to stick to the default pack's style (hence the title). In the default pack, the Python is a gold Desert Eagle, so I followed that.

    But if you wanted to make it realistic, it would be a gold revolver.
    I thought this pack was supposed to make these guns more likes they counterparts in real life and CoD.

    Minigun plus Desert Eagle = Derp Squad guns :stuck_out_tongue: DERP!
    Who else agrees that the desert eagle and the Python look like a Corn dog with a handle and Chrome/Gold Paint
