RecentlyI was playing Minecraft when it crashed and said Minecraft had ran out of memory.
The problem is, I have no Idea how to get memory.
Does anyone have a simple and fast way to get more memory for Minecraft so I can still play?

Open your launcher, edit your profile, turn on JVM Arguments, and replace the number before G with a higher number.

But what if his computer don't have more memory, or he uses 32bit Java?
Just comment if Daudzoe's way don't work. I'm sure both he and me can provide some help.

Okay first off you don't need to edit it. Just relaunch minecraft. It happens once in able iou moon but if you r e'er ally want go you can push it's ram space higher if you want.

I have the same problem! I keep lagging and crashing at completely random times. It says I don't have enough memory. Do you think it might be I have too many texturepacks installed? And I only have 1 Mod, OptiFine.

Minecraft usually takes half of your RAM as a default. For example, if I had 8 gigabytes of RAM, minecraft would run out of memory if it took up 4 gigabytes. Second of all, the majority of users use 64bit Java.
But if your minecraft runs out of memory once, the chance is it will probably run out of memory again.

I can't edit my JVM Arguments.
It makes Minecraft not able to open.
