    This has been suggested before, but the last time this was suggested was august. Now 2.0 is on it's way and I feel now is the time this finally get's added.


    We've all been there, you have your machinegun, and you're filling someone with lead. You shoot them enough that they try to run away but you have them. Then, just before you get that last shot, some asshole comes by with his skullcrusher and one-shots him. Just as you were clicking your mouse. It's a horrible feeling because he got all the points but you did all the work. I think it's time Kill Assists are added.

    What this is:
    Kill Assists are awarded to you when you do more than 2 hearts of damage to an enemy, but somebody else comes along and finishes him off. Since you did damage to that now dead player, you get a small amount of credits depending on how much damage you did.

    How will it work: To put it best, I'll start off with an example. Let's say your on blue team in Drone_tdm. Let's say you have the ak47 and your out in the road. You see an enemy up on a sniper position, and you zoom in on him and shoot him about 4 times. You're sure he only has maybe 2 hearst left. Then somebody steals the kill. Instead of him crouching in your face making fun of you, you get a good 50 exp and 1 credit for doing that much damage to the enemy. But if you only did 2-4 hearts on the enemy, your only rewarded 25 exp, and no credits.

    Why it should be added: Kill assists would make kill stealing not as much as a problem. It would remove the constant frustration and rage-quits caused by those pesky kill stealers. You still get rewarded, but you don't get a kill. That sounds fair enough right? Plus it's a feature in the actual Call of Duty games, so it has no reason not to get added in 2.0.


    Btw if this already is getting added in the new update, just delete the post/lock it. :> Tanks yus.

    jks i'm not sure if this is being added or not (i hope it is) but 50 xp for not killing the enemy?
    you only get 25 xp for killing an enemy maybe 15 xp for 70-90% damage and 10 xp for 30%-60%

    50 exp when the enemy was rightfully your kill ex. 1 heart left

    Im tired of people who shot block you to steal kills. I lost so many potential nukes from this. Anyways, this could work.

    I'd say that, you should get less than 25 exp and maybe 1 credit if done a large amount of damage (over 80%)

    I like this idea. Well thought out this time, and written well. However, you shouldn't be able to get 50 xp. You get 25 xp from 1 kill, why get 50 xp for doing 3/4 of the killing?

    Yes your idea is good, and well thought.. Brawler has a point here.. On a normal kill you are awarded 25 xp, and one credit. Why not maybe split it, or the both of you get the same thing.

    Agreed. If you don't get the kill, you shouldn't get more XP. Lower it to around 10 XP and 1 credit. That would be more sufficient.
