New Gamemode: Gun Spleef

Just as it sounds: spleef using guns! The arena would be a circle with a diameter of 100 blocks (enough to hold 70 people comfortably). The goal would be to, using guns, destroy the ground under people to have them fall out of the game. Currently, the only destructible block is glass panes (and you can fall out easily running on that, so you might have to make another block destructible).

Every second you are alive, you get 1 xp. Every time someone falls out, everyone gets 1 credit, 5 xp, and 10 ammo. Winner gets 100xp in addition to everything else he got.

Now, most of you are going to say "This clearly favors automatics; what about other guns?" Well, each gun works for this in different ways:

Automatics: Good for clearing an area fast, but you will find that you run out of ammo quickly and have to wait until more people to die to shoot, all the while trying not to fall.

Shotguns: The best part about using a shotgun for gun spleef is that it is random. When you fire, the bullets randomly fly around, so it is unpredictable and hard to avoid, but at the same time, you might fall into your own hole.

Snipers: You might think that snipers would be the worst for this gamemode, but I would like to think that you are wrong. Snipers can take out the last camping people on the other side of the field, making this gun type one of the best.

Pistols: Your average pistol serves as a backup while you reload, as usual. Not particularly good; it is recommended that you se your primary.

Note: Some donor guns will not work for this gamemode.

 

I know, I was going to put that in there, but there are some exceptions to their "only CoD" rule.

Also: a minigame server? Sweet!

 

I suppose you are right, ferret. I just thought it would be a nice way to have some fun on the side as a minigame, as Dark said.

 

I know what the difference between splegg and this. Geez. I just thought, like dark said, this would be a nice minigame do play on the side.
