    Why is there knockback in mc-war? I can understand recoil, but why is it whenever u shoot someone why do they go flyting back? When ever I get shot by the deagle I go flying, like 2 or 3 blocks. As far as im concerened, you fall down when u die/get shot. We arnt storm trropers from Star Wars for goodness sakes!

    P.S. if u didnt understand my analogy from star wars: the actors for the bad guys. ( Storm troopers) would always jump like a metre (Yard) when they got shot. :stuck_out_tongue:

    This is because in real life when you are shot, the force of the bullet knocks you backwards. The reason why people do this on Mc-War is to make the game as real as possible. The amount that you fly back depends on the range that you were shot at, and the power of the gun. So if you were shot at long range by powerful gun you would fly back quite a way. I hope that I explained it well to you.

    The only gun that does real knock back is the moddel. I don't know why. Perhaps it has something to do with the amount of snowballs that hits you?

    My reasoning : like in call of duty when you get shot throwing you accuracy all over the place, Since we cannot simulate flinching when shot in minecraft we kept the knock back to simulate it.

    This is because Shot-Guns are guns that are meant to spray loads of bullets at a short range. They are very powerful and because they are used at close range, the player feels the full force of the gun.
    This is also another factor that I forgot to add.

    But the knockback is SUPER anpying... Cause quite often Ill lagg back to were I was before I got knocked back, and i lagg into more bullets, or I freeze for a second
    I find the deagle knocks u back the most

    The reason why you get pulled back is because when you jump and spray the gun, it sometimes pulls you back. I am not sure of the reasoning behind this.

    If that has just started recently we have been having issues with our host. Plus, the knock back is in Minecraft originally so i doubt that motion could cause lag, It could also be no cheat.

    That's because it's the most powerful pistol in terms of bullet speed. In real life the Deagle is an extremely powerful gun that is often used for heavy-duty missions.

    I think it's because so Hagen ur getting shot u will die easier because when ur shot it's sorta hard to move and I think they want it so when ur shot ur easier to kill

    I'm fine with the knockback, what I'm not fine with is NoCheat's reaction to it sometimes...

    Aaaaacctually, minecraft has a pitch and yaw for the direction of your reticle. In essentials, warps save pitch and yaw, so it shouldn't be that hard to offset your reticle by a little bit when you're hit.

    In my opinion, the Desert Eagle needs a nerf on the knockback since that thing will send you flying 4 blocks in the air when 2 bullets hit you consecutively.

    There really isn't that much knockback in real life. It moves you about an inch backwards, but for the most part, the bullet is too small and goes too fast to propel you great distances. This is the point rad is trying to make. And I agree, the knockback is unrealistically powerful. Also, I've noticed that when getting shot by an automatic, the nocheat keeps you still, even if you try to move away.

    True Dat, but shotguns I understand. I don't really think a pistol could knock you back a meter either without killing you in real life. Then again, this is a game. It would be boring if it was too realistic :3 .

    Shotguns still wouldn't knock you back very far. And I disagree, I want it to be as realistic as possible :V
