Please note: I am only applying because we are currently very short on WarZ mods. Also, I know that I have a few denied apps in the past, but most of these were posted when I was a very new member. Thanks for reading.


Are you active and helpful on our servers, forums, and Teamspeak? -Yes, this is something that I pride myself on. I am always active on the forums, wether it be browsing the new threads on my iPhone at school, or doing my best to help the newer members of the community. This along with my TeamSpeak activity are my two strongest points. I am also always active on TS3, I downloaded this to communicate with other members of the community, and I can often be found sitting in the AFK section. Or chatting away with another member if the Brawl community. During my time on both, I am mature and try my best to help others, I am always putting others before myself, and posting helpful and creative feedback to the members that have chosen to be active on the forums. I have also posted my 1,00th post on the forums, this is a goal that I never would have dreamed that I would reach.


Which server are you applying for? -I am applying for the position of Mc-WarZ Moderator.


How old are you? -I am currently 14 years of age, I will be turning 15 in December, and I have been told my many people that I talk and act like a 18-19 year old man.


What time zone are you in? -I am in the UTC+12:00 time zone.


What is your experience and knowledge of Minecraft? -As I have said in my intro, I have a vast knowledge of Minecraft. I started out playing the game when it was first released back in 2009, I was soon hooked, and I could not stop playing. I spent many hours building houses, and various other things that I have forgotten. I watched the game “grow up”, so to say, and I have never had a dull moment. When I found Mc-WarZ, I fell instantly in love. Never before have I played a server with guns, so it was very exciting learning how to play the first few days. After two weeks or so, I finally understood almost everything there was to know about Mc-WarZ, and decided that this was a server I would like to stick with for a long time. This turned out to be on of the best decisions of my Minecraft experience.


What is your experience with moderating servers? -I am afraid that this is my weakness. Since I have never put much time aside to play on server I have not gained a vast amount of Moderating experience. I do however have proof that I am currently an Admin on the server of a current Mc-Brawl member @fast11471. He granted me this position because he felt like I was mature, and that I could help take his server forwards. This was a great honor for me, and I am sure that if I am given that chance to be a server mod, then I will embrace it, and I will make the most of the opportunity. There will proof of my Mod/Admin rank after I have finished answering all of the questions.


What will you provide to the community if you are provided moderator status? -If I am one of the lucky few people to be granted the position of Moderator, I would work my socks of to make sure that I am making the server a better place. In saying this, I am already the kind of person that is always giving people advice and making them feel welcome. I’m always on the servers and forums making sure that people have the most enjoyable experience possible. I also like to help sort out feuds, such as maybe a person being accused of hacks, and sorting things out to determine whether this accusation is true or false. Another star quality of mine is that I always try to make WarZ a better place. I would strive to make WarZ the most user friendly server as possible, regardless of my position on the server. I believe that you don't have to be a staff member to make the server a better environment, simple things such as welcoming new players and helping Moderators catch unwanted hackers can be all the help in the world. This brings me to my second reason I would help the Mc-WarZ community. If I am ever granted Moderator status, I would do my best to keep hackers, advertisers, and wrong doers in check. I am always recording, constantly on the look out for suspicious activity, such as possible hacks, or people abusing glitches for their own personal gain. I try to report all the hackers that I find, but I would just like to have the authority to do something about it myself. I would like to do my part, and help make WarZ a hacker clean environment. I am on WarZ sometimes for hours straight, so I will always be on the look out for hackers, and catching them in the act.


How active do you consider yourself in-game? -I am extremely active in-game. I often play up to 5 hours a day, divided between War and WarZ. This is the majority of my time that I spend on the computer, the rest being on TS3 and the forums. I am always on, having a great time, and putting others before myself. I am not concerned about my stats or anything like that, I am more focussed on being mature and helping people that need assistance. The amount of time that I play daily is always different,seeing as I have sports and homework to fit into my schedule as well as Minecraft. But for the majority of the time I am playing 3-5 hours a day. For this I would rate myself a good 8/9 out of 10 on server activity.


How active do you consider yourself on TS3? -I am active on TS3 I am on at every time that I can possibly be on. If I am not on TeamSpeak I have a issue that needed to be solved in my real life, or the fact that I am at school. I also help players with their questions when the staff members that on on TeamSpeak are in their own channel. I am often found in the AFK channel or in a channel talking with other members of the community.


How active do you consider yourself on the forums? - I like to consider myself one of the most active members of the forums when i'm around. I enjoy seeing the opinions of other players in Brawl, and I like to communicate my opinion also, this is why I am so active on the forums. I am always on the forums. wether it be at school or in bed. I always keep tabs on people that are misbehaving or being rude, and do my best to help people that need it.


What do you consider your greatest strength? -I consider my greatest strength is being friendly to others. How am I friendly? Well I post friendly comments and I do not post hateful comments. I've been getting lots of friendly ratings on Intros and other posts for my very nice and friendly comments.


What do you consider your greatest weakness? - For me, this would be the connection that I have with the people that play on these servers. This is because I can get emotionally attached to people, and when they leave or do something that I deem to be wrong, I can get quite upset. This is not too big of a deal really, but it is still something that I can sometimes find quite hard to deal with. So if I ever seem a bit over-emotional, you know the reason why.


How would you handle someone making a minor transgression for the first time? - It all depends on the severity of the trespass. If it was something serious I would maybe kick them with a warning or just a plain kick. If it was a less serious case then I would simply give them a warning, explaining their mistake. I am always filming during my time on the servers, so I will have good proof to go on if the person repeats or breaks the rules in any way after this.


How would you handle the same person doing it again a second time? -If what they are doing continues, I would take further measures and kick them, thoroughly explaining why they were kicked, and that there are harsher consequences if these acts continue.


How would you handle that person doing it again for the third time? -After a third offense, the player obviously doesn't care about the consequences of their acts, and I would issue them with a temp-ban (no longer than 1 hour). I would then report them to a higher staff member, explaining the situation, and let them decide on further actions that should be taken. Also, if it does happen to got this far, I would take all of the evidence that I have, and I would make a detailed and accurate report to Putty or someone of a higher authority than me.


What is your reaction if someone publicly proves you wrong on the forums? - I would let it slide, I am a very relaxed and approachable person, and I would hold nothing against the person. Although it could be a bit embarrassing for me, I would just laugh and carry on about my life. Also, we are all human, and we all make mistakes.


What would you do when someone breaks a rule on the forums? - I would remind them of their mistake over a PM, and kindly explain to the person what exactly they have done wrong, and I would tell them the consequences if they continue to break the rules. I would also link them to the server and forum rules so that I or any other member of staff would hopefully not have to remind them again.


When would you lock a thread? -I would lock a thread under many circumstances:

• The thread has gone off topic.
• The thread has started a flame war.
• The thread is a duplicate of another
• The topic has been suggested many times before (I would then link them to any related threads).
• The topic has been "brought from the dead," or in other words "A gravedig thread."
• It is a spam thread.
• The topic has been resolved/answered.
• A lock was requested by the creator.

I would state which of these matters have occurred, explain why I am locking the thread, state that the thread has been locked, and lock the thread. If I have no authority on the thread (meaning I cannot lock in that section), then I would alert a Moderator/Admin who has the power to do so. I would also attach a link to the Forum Rules thread, so that the culprit can learn from his mistakes.

Anything else we should know about you? - I am not really sure that I need to put anything in here, I think that I have covered everything that you people need to know about me in my app. And I hope that you have all enjoyed reading this. I will not be offended by ANYTHING that you people say to me, I will take it as something that I can do to help make myself a better person.


Situation: A player is out of the map on MC-WAR. What are the steps that you would take to ensure that this player and situation is properly dealt with? -I would tell them to get back into the map and if they do not then i would kick them from the server if they continue to go outside of the map i would temp ban them for X amounts of time. I would also report the way they got out on the forums so it can be fixed. But if they cannot get back into the map i would kick then from the server so it does not give an unfair advantage over the other players. That after all is what walls are there for.


Do you generally know how all the plugins and commands work? -Yes I have a good knowledge of the server plugins and commands that A moderator has access to. I have been talking with an anonymous source who has asked me not to name him in this app , and he has kindly explained the commands that are used to kick and ban players.


Do you realize that if you are disrespectful or abuse your power, your power will be taken away? -Yes, I am very aware of the fact that I can be demoted. I am not above anyone when it comes to etiquette and following the rules. I have seen a few people have their Mod status taken away from them. And I will behave to the best of my ability to prevent this from happening to me.


Situation: You think a player is hacking, what would you do? -Seeing as I am always recording during my time on WarZ, I can capture video proof of the person “Hacking”. I will go over the video several times, before finally coming to a conclusion. If I am in doubt I will keep monitoring the player, and if he does something else suspicious it would confirm my original thoughts. If I do find the player in question to be using a hacked client then I would take the appropriate steps to see that he is properly punished.

Yes I did ask for it to be denied, and I can understand how you feel. The reason why I applied is because I think that WarZ is short on mod, and seeing as I am currently quite active there, I thought that I might apply for mod. Thanks for replying, and thank you for being honest.
