Hmm... these may solve the problems, however I'm not fully sure what's going to happen, lets see what happens.

These will solve some problems, I like it a lot now some people won't rage and leave the forums. I will see the changes these will do, maybe it will stop those from raging.

Hmm, seems good as a Moderators opinion is usually more trusted. But how about maybe the members with over 500 posts or 1k are able to post aswell as they're older to the forums and probably more mature.

I would go 2 k personally but it seems legit to have the senior members of the forums being able to post on them

A members total forum posts is not a clear measurement of their experience / maturity. Anyone can comment on posts with ridiculously useless / pointless comments. It still builds a post count.

If a member decides to do this, then they are not suitable for our community.

Disabling ratings was definitely a good move, although sometimes players can provide excellent evidence to back up their opinion, whatever it may be. But let's see how this goes for now, and if it works, let's keep it!

This was the right move Putty. Some people may rage about not being able to lower peoples morale, but that's ok.

I may be reading this wrong, but are Members asked to apply, or Members cannot apply, but VIPs can? Thanks, I was just wondering.

Members can still apply at their own will.
However, only Moderators+ can reply to the applications.

Oh, okay. Thanks for clearing this up. I thought Putty meant that Members can't apply.

I am certainly happy at the change in the applications. We should make an exception for F1r3tar because he is really good with the mod applications. This would clear up most harsh comments in the application and there will be more constructive critism left upon the applicants, so they can improve and not be bullied out of the forums cause they made a bad mod app. This is a great way to stop all the new comers who didnt read the requirements to get aware of the requirements out there and that they need to improve upon things.
