Idea for CTF

    I think CTF should be changed. I think when you die, the flag should stay on the block you died on for like 20 seconds. If nobody grabs it, then it would dissapear. Anyone else agree?

    The flag should not just drop where you died, because CTF would be way to easy. I don't think this idea will be added.

    Might work.
    Maybe if the flag only drops for 5 seconds.
    And if the defending team picks it up, the flag is sent back to the capture point.

    maybe 10-15 seconds would be better
    5 seconds would be useless :L

    I remember a while ago when you dropped the flag after you died. Not sure if that was a bug or not.
    Anyways, (+1) to the idea.

    it would place an incentive to "squad up" and work as a real team

    Yep makes more sense and if the other team get's their flag then it get teleported back to their base

    I disagree with this... Reason why is if someone drops a flag few steps away from your flag.... What will happen?
    You should make it if he drop it , opponents can also get it and bring the flag back.
    That will make more interesting.... I think.

    I think if this were to be added, it would change the way players would play CTF.
    Players would have to try and work in little teams/squads and advance together, to keep hold of the flag.
    Despite that, I'd rather it only drop for 5 seconds / 10 seconds, 20 seconds seems a tad long.

    If this were to be implemented, they would have to be a way the other team could send the flag back to its spawn without the time running out. My suggestion is when the team kills the player with their flag, then runs over it, it is sent back to their teams spawn and they get some bonus xp.

    Scenario: Chickenputty runs through wrecking any blue team member is sight. He runs by the flag, makes a quick turn and sprints back to his spawn. Signatured sees this, and advances after him. Right as Chickenputty is almost out of sight, Signatured zooms in and shoots, killing Chickenputty. The flag is dropped where Chickenputty is killed. Signatured runs up over the flag, and the flag is sent back to his spawn. He gets 10 xp for the capture.

    I feel this would balance it out. Also, as @GreenPeas_ said, it would change the way CTF is played.

    this would make ctf much better, since people would be more likely to try and get the flag and work as a team and not just play as if it was a tdm match

    I agree with this idea because, as said above, most players play ctf as an extended time tdm.
