Most realistic war film

    I think that Black hawk down is extremely realistic and it's based on a true story which makes it even more better. image.jpg

    Plot: Action/war drama based on the best-selling book detailing a near-disastrous mission in Somalia on October 3, 1993. On this date nearly 100 U.S. Army Rangers, commanded by Capt. Mike Steele, were dropped by helicopter deep into the capital city of Mogadishu to capture two top lieutenants of a Somali warlord. This lead to a large and drawn-out firefight between the Rangers and hundreds of Somali gunmen, leading to the destruction of two U.S. Black Hawk helicopters. This film focuses on the heroic efforts of various Rangers to get to the downed black hawks, centering on Sgt. Eversmann, leading the Ranger unit Chalk Four to the first black hawk crash site, Warrant Officer Durant who was captured after being the only survivor of the second black hawk crash, as well as many others who were involved.

    Sometimes it's just gore so do except it to be a very rough film :V

    The Longest Day is a really good war film, if you like old movies. It isa black and white, so ya :V

    Favourite part: image.jpg
    One of the best films :V
    well except people's limbs on the floor and the guy with an RPG stuck in is stomach but it as a heroic end, even got oscars :V

    The most realistic movie for me is either "Saving Private Ryan" or even "Tears of sun". Both of those movies are worth a watch, although I prefer horror movies. (God dang, can not even scream).

    That is a movie which is worth a watch from me....

    Ok, to add a few more: Platoon, The Thin Red Line, and Apocalypse Now. I have not seen the last, but I have heard that it is the greatest.

    Dat trailer... So strange... Gravity ain't got nothing on Europa report :V
    Where eagles dare is also a good one if you like secret missions but is really action packed
