I was 37years old when the infection broke out. I ran and ran until my legs gave up. But let's go further back before the infection...

It was the 2nd of February. 2014.I was slowly drudging over to my car to pick Sara and Anna up from another day of school. They was twins and today its there 9th birthday. Anna and Sara Ran into my arms, I jumped up and swung them around with my arms. I put them down again and we walked over to the car. To my surprise the car was filled with boxes of toys, barbie dolls, plastic ties, cardboard, The Lot! I don't even remember putting them in there. Then again I am 37 I am probably just forgetting things in my old age. As we left the parking lot I saw a strange looking man in a trench coat walking at a very steady pace. I just thought it was another stoner laughing at his feet again wouldn't surprise me, were in 2014 now.

1 week later, about 01:03 am i heard a loud bang from the lounge. I grabbed my gun and crept down the stairs As I slowly and. Cautiously made my way into the lounge I saw a shadow of an old man I point my gun and said 'Stop' then I realised its just Phillip from next door! 'For f*ck sake Phil you put my heart in my mouth!' When Phil turned around and faced me I just dropped my gun in horror, and Phil did the same, except he dropped his left eye ball. I scuttled and grabbed my gun. It was just an SR9 but it does the job. 'Phil don't come near me bud' 'Daddy?' 'Oh ****' ' Daddy?' Anna. Go back upstairs get Sara into the bathroom and lock the door.' 'Why Daddy' ' DO IT.' 'Daddy why is Mr.Colin's here?' 'Anna GO!' Anna finally went, but phil tried to follow... ' Phil stop now!' I grabbed phil by the shoulder and threw him to the floor. Phil stay still or I'll be forced to make you, still Phil ignored me and stood up I squeezed my triiger and then I did it again. 2 bullets implemented in his skull.
I dropped my gun and then sprinted up stairs I knocked on the bathroom door, and said 'Anna, honey Mr.Colin's is gone now.' 'Open the door honey' she unlocked it Sara and anna was fine and at that moment that's all I could wish for. 'Sara get my phone babes.' 'Daddy who are you calling?' Uncle Douglas 'Ring Ring' 'Hey its Douglas Lea...' '**** answer phone' To my surprise Douglas and his friend Danny burst through my front door. Shouting 'David! Dave!' I didn't really know Danny but I feel as if were Really good buds. I told Douglas and Danny everything. But they cut me off but they cut me off half way through. Its 01:08 am why are you here? 'Dave mate, there's been a zombie outbreak get in the van.' 'I know its hard to believe but you'll see.'

We get in the van, 8 seats 15x7 ft ii wasn't fussed. We get in we buckled up and left. But as we was driving we was followed by a similar van and behind this a car, and behinng that another car. Every body with the same idea. Luckily we was one of the first to leave the city and load up on to the boat. Danny and Doug opens to trunk of the van and started throwing everything on to the boat. Guns not just a couple colts, but Barretts ak's aa12s the lot! Bags of food and bottles of water. Danny and Douglas was discussing code names and they asked me what is mine? 'Hold the **** up.' ' there's an supposed zombie apocalypse and you are already ready for this? How did you know? 'Dave, were not safe here we Need to go now.' As we left the docks I looked back and just saw a riot of people trying to get to the bridge. There was an awkward silence sara and anna was asleep on the bench. So what's your names now guys? douglas said 'call me Twisted' Danny said 'call me DJ' I said 'call me lamp' as a joke Danny and Doug just laughed and I didn't want to seem like a melon so I laughed too. But from then lamp stuck. Twisted, DJ and lamp. We set off heading for another city just to raid the stores for some more supplies. But then we arrived, It Happend...

The boat ran out fuel mid way to the other island. 'Dou... Twisted!' 'Lamp we've got this,right DJ?' DJ then lifts up an empty can of fuel. 'Sh*t' ''lamp, DJ you gotta swim and push.' The water is said to be so cold its like a thousand knives stabbing you consistently. We took the chance. We jumped off and its true. But if there is a Zombie apocalypse, then this is just one of many problems... Finally we got to shore Soaking, exhausted, and overwhelmed by the cold. But we got there. As we quietly snook around the town looting for Items it had been badly trashed. '****! Somebody has beat us to it.'

We Grabbed what we could stole a truck, loaded everything onto it, then left. 'Sara and Anna are very quiet girls, aren't they lamp?' ' yes DJ they have been since Rosan died a few years ago...' Danny relaxed and looked to me with confusion. 'Rosan?' 'She was my wife.' 'Oh sorry to hear that lamp.' 'Its OK dj ' whilst we was all talking, our wheels were shot down, by a very large Helicopter...'Twisted LOOK OUT!' 'BOOM' We crashed the front of the car. Miraculously nobody has a scratch on them. The helicopter landed. And shon large UV light across the trick. 'Click' the doors locked and a tall man in a trench coat was walking at a very steady pace towards the truck. We took our seatbelts off but by the time we did it the tall man shon the UV light again and the doors unlocked. He opened the door closest to Anna, and whispered something in her ear, I quickly swiped him grabbed Anna and brought her close to me and Sara. 'Get away from the truck' Douglas screamed pointing an AWP at the tall mans face. He didn't seem alarmed at all, but then he put his hand out 'I'm Adam' But you can call me Chicken putty.'

Twisted lowered the AWP and shook his hand. 'I'm douglas he said quietly
'All of you are more than welcome to join us on our survival.' DJ and Twisted were unsure of this. But I didn't care. I got out of the truck and said 'We will come with you.' DJ and Twisted looked at me, not with anger. Not with annoyance. But with pride. 'Follow me' Without any warning Twisted and DJ Unloaded the truck, onto the helicopter. Putty sat in the back DJ and Twisted sat with Putty and started making conversation. 'YO LAMP, GET SARA AND ANNA ONTO THE HELICOPTER SOONER OR LATER ZOMBIES WILL BE FLOODING HERE!' I walked over with Sara and Anna in my arms. And the helicopter doesn't take off. There isn't even a pilot. But putty just sits there smiling at me. And I look to him and say 'So what now?' 'he giggles under his breath and says 'This...' A huge aircraft hovers down from the clouds and the helicopter is lifted up with grappling hooks. We all just look up in amazement. Then the aircraft took off we got out of the helicopter. But then adam gave us this small pills. 'What are these for?' Explained Danny. Putty laughed and said 'these pills will allow you to... Teleport if you will' 'How do they work?' I asked calmly. ' if you TPA then the codename you give each other. They will receive a request in the brain. If they want you there they have to say /tpyes.'

'Try it.' But before I had a chance a man came and took Sara and anna into these 2 separate rooms. 'Whoa whoa whoa. Where is he taking them? I said quickly pacing over to him. 'Don't worry Lamp he's taking them to separate rooms to train them physically and mentally for the upcoming apocalypse. 'No he's not.' I picked up my pace and sped up to him but when I was about the open my mouth to tell him no. I felt a prick in my neck, but before I could do anything else, I fell. My vision went blurry and my hearing went south too. He just walked off like he didn't even see me. I was complete my weak and just blacked out...

When I awoke I had a headache and a very large man was above me. I quickly grasped his shirt and firmly said where are my kids? 'Sir, its OK, they're in the training facility. 'GET THEM OUT NOW!' 'Sir I'm afraid we can't do that.I ripped the wires from my chest and darted to the room where I saw Sarah and Anna training. Except it seems like they knew what they was doing...then they put in a few zombies. I screamed as each zombie got closer and closer to Anna and Sara. Sara then grabbed an CZ75 and shot the zombies except it was really fast. And not one bullet missed.

I was so proud of her knowing to to use a gun, yet frustrated at the fact i didn't teach her. Then we met another fellow on board this helicarrier. His name was Bren now his codename was Hacksack54. 'Danny!' 'Bren!' DJ and Hacksack hugged and i asked Danny 'Umm... Danny who is this?' Twisted explained for him 'Hacksack is Danny's best friend but he lives on the other side of town, there wasn't anytime to get him sadly, 'But damn, he knows what to do and when to do it!'

'So Hacksack is with us now?' i replied with a friendly tone trying not to seem like i didn't want him with us. Don't get me wrong hes a really nice guy! Suddenly the helicarrier lights starting flashing red, loud alarms sounded like the side of a ruler smacking on a laminate table! it took a crash to the ground. but the helicarrier. was in perfectly good shape no smashed walls or anything its was like it was intended to land. then all the doors opened we was in New York... as thousand of zombies slowly dragged themselves towards the aircraft we grabbed what we could then we grabbed the girls and left...

We approached a prison and thought we better raid it as most of our supplies were lost during the amount times we swapped vehicles. Afterwards we arrived at the prison hungry. cold. thirsty but me met 2 very nice heroes called Pedringano and bob8iscool8 there, they had everything. however we was bandits so they imprisoned us. as we sat in our cell ped and bob lay in the cell next to us asleep except i heard noises on the floor above us 'ANNA! SARA!' they had wondered off when we walked up here. 'If we can get those keys we can get out of here!' 'Better idea' Douglas Closed his eyes and said '/tpa Anna.' DJ said '/tpa Sara' Hacksack said '/tpa DJsniper2002 so i followed them.
'/tpa TwistedGamerKid' we all waited but nothing happened. until 7 seconds later we all flashed out. then suddenly i saw Anna and Sara they ran into my arms and i swung them around and specifically told them 'Never wonder off like that i thought you died or something! promise me you'll never do this ever again.' 'We promise Daddy.' 'Good' then a Zombie came running up behind me and Sara pushed me out of the way and gave the a Zombie a swift kick to the jaw. but when she did the zombie bit her. i saw it and just fell to my knees sobbing. 'Don't worry daddy' Anna said with a soft touch to her voice. she applied this green solidified substance that looked as if you touched it would burst. the substance turned into gas and then wound healed up. 'Anna! do you know what this means?' 'What?' 'We can stop to apocalypse!' 'lamp, we can't there's not enough of it to save the world but its not to hard to make. 'oh.' 'OI!' '**** ped and bob woke up from all the ruckus' Barrett shots flew past us we ran laughing in terror, however it was nearly morning the zombie count was a lot lower than at night. 'Daddy? what happens if we die?' 'I don't know and i don't want to find out...'
