Random ratings? Like I see a guy posted a mod app, and I didn't read it, so I'm just going to pointless it? If that's what you mean, you are aloud to do it. It is just not suggested, it is also showing your immaturity.

 

Well I don't think it's appropiate to randomly give people Likes and Dislikes around the forums. I'm certain it's against the rules.

 

No, you aren't. You can get banned for repeating negative ratings or boosting. You have to rate it from honest point of view, not being biased all around. Now I have 1 dumb rating :V

 

It depends on the rating and your reason for giving it.
Spamming negative ratings on everyone's posts is considered spam, and is against the rules. It really depends on the random rating you want to give.
Boosting someone by liking every post they make isn't allowed either. (cough cough) @PieThatFlies (cough cough)
You must have a good reason to rate a post. For instance, if Steve posted a pointless flame war thread, it would be fine to give a dislike. (but then you would need to report it)
If you give everyone who replies to your thread a dislike or something, that is against the rules.
We also have a Q/A section, so if you have a question, post them there.
