Alert Preference Idea

    My idea is that, there is an option for alert preferences where you can get an alert when someone votes in a poll you created or in a poll on a thread you are watching.

    Well it could be possible to add but let's say someone agrees to an idea you posted on the forums. That person would most likely comment a positive response to the idea so you would obviously know what he/she votes in the poll. This option should be on the forums as a preference.

    Yes, that is true, but I still think it would be useful as an option. It would also be useful for staff application voting, seeing as normal members can no longer post on them.

    This sounds like an interesting idea, but it shouldn't be default automatically because if a ton of people vote in a poll, it would spam your alert box. Maybe it could be an option that you could choose if you want to get an alert everytime someone votes in your poll.

    Exactly. Just for future reference, I did say 'Alert Preference Idea'. Perhaps it could also be an option to only get an alert when a moderator votes in it, or when someone you follow, or someone who follows you, votes in it.
