Idea /friend changes?

    I recently was playing on WarZ, and I guess a lot of people know me because I got like 5 people doing /friend. What I am proposing is a way to make friend requests, not simply a command to add them. I suggest that if a person does /friend, it sends the receiving player a "Request" of sorts, so people do not spam you with /friend. Also, I noticed that if someone has you on their friends list but it is not mutual, you get a alert when they join: "Randomusername013 joined the game."
    What I am proposing is that it sends you a request, kind of like a TPA where both players have to use a command.
    The command could be /friend [username], and it would give the person text reading as follows:


    [Username]
    has sent you a friend request. Use /friendreq yes to accept. Use /friendreq no to decline. This offer will timeout in 120 seconds.

    Also, another thing this change could implement is unfriending changes as well. When you /friend someone you already have as a friend, it gives than an alert like follows:


    [Username]
    has requested to remove you as a friend. Use /defriend [username] to accept. Use /decline to deny. This request will timeout in 120 seconds

    This will basically remove all betrayal in the game and prevent a lot of anger and rage being directed towards the game. If the player you defriend is offline, it does not send a request and automatically removes both of you from each other's friend list, and so many peoples' playing styles will not be ruined. You can still technically betray, but it makes it much harder. Also this way, people's friend lists don't get cluttered with people that are never on. People can trust more with these changes, and so that is why I suggest them.

    they cant friend you unless you friend them back unless they updated it. if they did friend you you can kill them still

    Yes, but it still tells you that they friended you, and evrey time they get on/off it gives you an alert. That is what I am proposing to change.

    Try friending someone who hasn't friended you. When they log off or on, it tells you in-game.
    It's tho opposite for me, I play war when I'm dead everywhere on WarZ or no one's in the towns I'm in.

    You want to make it so once you friend someone, you need both player's consent to unfriend each other? This would be weird..

    Maybe we could make it so when someone unfriends you, they are automatically removed from your friends list as well. This would save someone who is getting betrayed the time of unfriending the betrayer.

    The rest of the idea is alright. :stuck_out_tongue:

    It is weird, but it does get slightly spammy with people giving you notifications that they left the game. Also, the removing them automatically is not entirely necessary, as both people can hit each other if only one person has friended the other. However I do appreciate the criticism, and I will take into account your ideas.

    This is a pretty good idea.
    But I'm thinking this is a little bit pointless and unecessary for our Mc-WarZ servers.

    This is a nice idea, however if you want to defriend them and they say no. You have a problem.

    But the only time you would want to defriend someone is if they're offline or you want to betray. I take this into account and am adding another section.
    I'm confused by your thinking. It's a good idea, but unnecessary for the servers? If what you mean is that it's okay the way it is now, I acknowledge that and take it into account. Thank you.
