    The McBrawl forums receive dozens of new members every week. From this, most of those members leave because they didn't know anything about making Intros to announce their arrival so my suggestion is that there is a place one of the forums page that announces whoever joined the forums. That way, our forum members can greet the new members on their profile page or in a PM. I'm already aware that we do have a "Latest member" section but most people don't see that part of the forums. Also, I'm not suggesting threads being made on the Announcements sub-section because that is mainly for server updates.

    Preferably, the new members announcements should be on the top of the McBrawl home page so every member who joins the forums will be able to see the announcement.

    Pros:
    - Less probability of new members leaving
    - Less new member mod applications
    - More friendlier members on the forums
    - More active forum members overall

    Cons:
    - I can't think of a negative result of this but it would be fine by me if you could.

    Not directly at every forum member but I meant as a small announcement box saying who joined the forums.

    So, basically this? I made this thread for the exact same reason. Although, I prefer my idea to this one because that way we could scroll down a list of new members and help each one of them. The sad truth is that I have found that most people here don't seem to care much about our new members (either that, or I am not a very popular figure here. :V). Both threads that I created about new members (The new members section and Greeting new members ) died immediately. I appreciate that you care Mokolee. I wish that others cared as much as you and I do.

    I didn't do exactly what you wanted, but I added an notice that appears if a user has 0 posts. It says,

    Their name will appear where it says chickenputty.

    Watchu think?
