    So I was thinking of getting an alt, but then I realised that I didn't have any money, I was thinking. "Is it possible to change my Minecraft account name?", I don't know but if any of you know how to do it then please let me know.

    You could transfer your account stats over to your alt but I'm not sure about the name part.

    There is no way other changing your current minecraft name unless you use a hack. I asked putty if name change hacks were allowed, and he simply said, "no". Sorry, but your account name will remain what it is unless you buy a new account.
