WarZ Community Map Project​

As you well know, the current WarZ map has been up for 10 months now and most of you are looking for something new and exciting. We are going to create a new map from scratch within this month with your help. We’re going to provide some information in this thread about what kind of build styles we need and are wanting you all to help us out. We’ll be needing a lot of builds to make this happen! I know you guys have been waiting for this.

To start off, here are some screen shots of some DayZ and city structures from Garry’s Mod that would be perfect for the new map:

Keep in mind that we will be pasting what you make into premade terrain, so don’t make flat cities, focus on independent buildings that we can paste together to make a well flowing town. Feel free to link any threads that your build would fit well with.

Structures that are meant to be pasted into the ocean or that have predefined walls around them, like snow town, are fine to build as a whole. We just don’t want big flat towns that don’t flow with the surrounding area/terrain at all.

We’ll even be looking at adding in some MC-War maps into the actual WarZ map. Feel free to link/discuss those in this topic.

Given the magnitude of this project we’ll be taking submissions for the next few weeks and if all goes well, should have the map out to you guys by the end of March.

Please put all submissions into a new post, just like you would if you're submitting something for WarZ. An application will automatically be written for you when you click the "Post a New Thread" button. All current and future submissions in the "WarZ Map Submission" section will be looked at for use in the upcoming Community Map.
