An idea I had was to make an interactive obstacle course. The player clicks a button that teleports them to an obstacle course. They choose their set up. Then as the players crosses a trip wire which begins the course.

The training course is made clear, and it is easy to access. You can follow the signs, or do /train. Then, it would start the training course. When in the training course, the start of a match will not cancel the training course.
Commands: /restart - Total and complete restart of the course. Needs an extra confirmation just in case.
/retry - Restarts the current mission you are on. Also used if you failed a mission.
/skip - Skips a mission. Good if you know how to do something already.
    /exit or /spawn - Exits the tutorial.
/next - After completing a mission, use this command to head on to the next mission.
Mission 1: Learn how to use weaponry
You will receive an M16 and a USP .45. Either the chat box or holographic text will tell you how to shoot. It would also tell you how to aim. After detecting that you have shot bullets, it will then have you shoot a target. When you shoot the target, the mission is completed. You will have as much ammo as needed, since there is an ammo "dispenser," and the server will tell you to download the texture pack if you don't already have it. After completing this, you can either go on to the next mission or test out the M1014, the L118a, the M4, or the Dragunov.
    Mission 2: Lethals and tacticals
You will receive a grenade and a molotov. The objective is to kill an enemy using the grenade, and then killing a near dead enemy using molotovs. It will, of course, show you how to use the items.
    Mission 3: Live combat 1
This is the first mission in which you actually get to shoot something moving. In this, there will be a skeleton holding a wooden hoe (M16). He will shoot snowballs, but for training purposes, he won't shoot very fast, and his accuracy is off by a bit. Kill the skeleton, then move on.
    Mission 4: Live combat 2
In this mission, you will have to snipe skeletons from far away using the L118a. Like the actual L118a, it won't one shot the skeletons unless it's a headshot, so headshotting will be encouraged. The skeletons are holding wooden axes (L118a's), and will shoot bullets slowly that do 5 hearts of damage each, regardless of where it hits on the body. After killing these skeletons, you move on.
    Mission 5: Live combat 3
In this mission, you must move up behind the skeletons and kill them with your M1014. Pretty obvious. They have M16's. Once you kill all the skeletons, you move on.
    Mission 6: Live combat exercise
This is the final mission, and you may choose any difficulty a and any load out. Your health doesn't regenerate quickly, and you must survive for as long as you can against repeated waves of skeletons with custom weapons. They move faster though, and have leather armor to replicate actual soldiers.
Once you die in this mission, the tutorial is complete, and you can move on to actual gameplay.

Seem legit? It's an alternative to your idea, and it's a little like Titanfall's practice mode

Seems like a practice tutorial. We could, perhaps, implement a bit of gameplay in there, like having skeletons shooting faster, or having them fire deadly bolts. Also, they could hold specific weapons and shoot with them, by having them hold the item and shoot a deadly snowball. Or several.
This is more like a tutorial, so I think you should probably change the idea to be a tutorial.

So, the point of this is? Some kind of training? No drill, no skill. It needs some tweaking though.

Perhaps, loss of health, mod integral and arena modifying. You know, that if they enable mods on server, then summit will be full of creepers. They can use spawners, but that can cause exploits, too.

The idea of a tutorial mode appeals to me because they're usually unique and quite good to show beginners how to play. Plus they can gain a bit of skill that way to be ready for the multiplayer gameplay that is waiting for them.

I think there should be like a reward after the missions maybe like 1 credit but the 1 credit after the mission is a once a day thing.

If it's a once-a-day thing, then it would have to be a bigger bonus.
For the last mission, I said that you could change the difficulty.
I'd say 25 credits on Easy Mode, 50 credits on Medium, 75 credits on Hard Mode, and 100 on Extreme/Hardcore. (no regen)
