Nurf or buff the raygun?

The weapon will be nerfed.
It will be required to scope to be fully accurate.

 

The Ray Gun is really good in tdm/ctf. And it is not nooby.

 

Ahhh, yet another of these posts.
Personally, the RayGun is the only donator weapon I use, and I use it in every gamemode.
To me, it is effective in every gamemode.
Also, the RayGun is being edited in MC-War 2.0.

It definitely needs a nerf or some changes.

 

Really. I never heard about this.
In my opinion, the raygun shouldn't explode unless it hits someone. That was what it did before, I believe.

NO this should not be nerfed then the gun isn't worth the price that you bought this gun so I think nerf will be a waste of my money. Then they should make the price 2.50$ if nerf

Also, there have been so many posts like this. But I'll still respond: I think the ray should be nerfed to a degree. For example: it should have a charge up time, reduced aoe, reduced clip, etc.
Perhaps not a damage nerf, but some other kind of nerf would do well.

 

The reduce the price then its a waste of money

 

It will still do enough damage to be a good donor gun. The LAW's price wasn't reduced when it was nerfed, tbe raygun's price won't be either.

So you want a gun to be buffed even though it has aspects that make it really op?

Pros

• Instant projectile speed
• OSK with direct hit
• Large or even larger AOE than a LAW
• No-scope accuracy (just edited this in)

Cons

• Small amount of ammo

Neutral

• Decent firerate, but you can still spam a group of players to death.

Pros outweigh cons. This means the raygun is too op and it should get a nerf. I'd suggest taking away the AOE because I don't think a raygun is really supposed to be an explosive based weapon. More like a laser gun to me.

 

What makes raygun the ultimate infect weapon is the fact that it has a pretty high firerate with 100% accuracy all the time, plus AoE and high damage (insta kill in infect) plus the shot basicly instantly reaches its target, sure it has low ammo but most people who donate for weapons will donate for scav as well, also AoE is getting removed :V

 

So it will be like a spartan lazer?
