As i play with a bunch of younger sisters around (oldest 12, youngest 5), it has come to my attention that there are quite a few people with language that isn't so clean. I think they should add a cencorship plugin for the chat, so parents and people with young siblings have a safer enviornment for the younger ones that might be around or playing.

We already do have one, but I agree, it definitely does need improving.

Our anti-curse is somewhat buggy so I can say sorry. The only problem with programs like that is any word can be modified. Lets say the word "Cake" is banned. I can spell it other ways.
    • C4ke
    • Cak3
    • Ca!ke
    • etc.
Anti-curse is bugged however moderators will try our best to watch the chat. Hopefully anti-curse will be fixed soon or have some major changes. Again, sorry for any inconvenience with your sister's/family.

If you say a word like *** or the f-word, it will block it out. But I think, it's not enough.

There is always /war chat, but I'm sure you don't want to use that.
Really, it isn't a crime to swear in MC-War or any of our other servers, as long as you don't infringe the other rules like spamming or flaming. Many other servers don't even have an anti swear plugin; we added it to help stop flaming and spam.

There's some words that need to be blocked too. I noticed the S word and H word isn't blocked.

H word? There also definitely needs to be a plugin that will still censor when a player says the f-word, just with a full stop in the middle,

The word is hell. Not too bad of a word, but players tend to say things like "Go to Hell."

Oh I see. As a moderator, I don't really have much of a problem with words like **** or *****, but when people use them in an insulting or spamming fashion like 'you little ****' or 'go to hell *****', that's when I start warning people.

We already have a chat filter, however it can easily be bypassed. I believe that we are currently improving ours or getting a better one.

Yo, you're playing a game where you're using weapons to simulate killing people. If you think simple swearing is worse than that, then I think you need to possibly re-think some things.

There's already a censorship plugin but it is quite ineffective sometimes

There is a censorship plugin for the chat. The problem is that people have adapted to it and figured ways around it. They use spaces, slang, numbers, etc.
