Many times I have been playing, and racked up a good killstreak. 13, or 14 about, and I get a kill with Python, and unzoom into a block.
By this I mean that since you punch to unzoom, you can break blocks insanely fast with a diamond shovel. For example, I was playing on Lockdown_Infect and I broke a sand block and died. What I propose is for Python to have its item changed to something else (Ghast tear, gold nugget, etc.) or to remove the no block glitching plugin. When the plugin is bugged, it rubber-bands me back to where I broke it from, so I can't block-glitch anyway.
I do hope something is done about this, as it bugs me a whole lot. Thank you.

While block glitching is quite annoying, 1.8 completely changes Adventure Mode. Without a certain item, you cannot break blocks. Even if you have a shovel, you can't break dirt or sand unless you have a shovel with the NBT tag CanDestroy: (blocks here). Because of that coming in 1.8, this will likely not be implemented.
Also, the Python is the gold shovel because it looks correct when you hold it, unlike the prestige guns.
While it is annoying, as said above, 1.8 Adventure Mode will fix that, and the Python would look weird being held. Honestly, I don't think the item for the Python will actually be changed. But who knows, maybe orange will change it.

A better idea is to remove the death on block glitch feature, and instead just have the block auto regenerate. It could teleport you a bit back to where you were before, as well, to prevent brief lag spikes from giving you an advantage.

As he just said even if it's a shovel u cant break blocks without adding a certain block break permission.

No, because this would destroy suiciding in infect. What if in infected, the root zombie leaves (like when I was playing with you the other day), and you're not able to suicide? Having everybody do ./spawn is a pretty hard task.

What I propose is, that you should be able to block glitch, but it would not kill you for the first three times you do it. If you do it 4 times, the 4th time it would kill you. Sound alright?

Or add a /suicide command that will kill you and prevent boosting.
Anyways, back on topic. Make a thread about that if you want, this is about the Python's ability to break dirt and sand too quickly. When MC-War updates to 1.8, you probably won't be able to suicide in infect via the normal means. Maybe have my idea for a block glitching system apply in all gamemodes but infect...

As Brawler stated, the Python is a golden shovel. Like all golden items, it has the highest efficiency (even higher than diamond, but poor durability). Thank you for clearing that up. Didn't know Adventure Mode would be changed since. Don't keep up with Minecraft updates anymore.

I'm not sure if this is what Brawler said, but just make it so you can't destroy blocks with anything. And I agree that /kill should be brought back, but tweaked to prevent boosting.

I agree but that's why I usually unscope in the air or you could just switch to a Item slot in your hop bar that is empty

This only occurs in the sandy maps, and maybe even with the dirt blocks. But this should be changed.
Maybe retexture the python using a different item such as an actual item, not a shovel.
